Landal Seawest Resort

Here you get the standard Landal experience. Pay a lot for a not so clean, old, holiday home with kitchen inventory that has been collected. Exact none of the forks, knives and spoons are the same. Swimmingpool either. Changingrooms are not clean, lockers broken. A smudgy experience overall

Our recent stay at Landal Seawest turned into a nightmare due to the resort’s negligence and shockingly poor treatment of guests. While on the terrace, our 3-year-old daughter was playing quietly with a bubble machine near the outdoor glass table provided by the resort. Without any impact or warning, the entire glass surface suddenly shattered beneath her, covering her with sharp shards. She suffered multiple cuts to her legs and hands. It was traumatic — and we were lucky it didn’t end in a hospital visit. When I reported this horrifying incident to reception, I expected concern or at least a basic human response. No one even asked how our daughter was doing. Instead, I was immediately pressured to pay 800 DKK for the broken table. The staff coldly stated, “it’s your word against ours,” and made it clear there was no point in disputing it — we would lose anyway. The table was clearly old and rusted, and very likely unsafe. When I brought this up, I was told that we should have taken a photo of the table before it shattered — an absurd and unreasonable demand for any guest. They had no documentation of the table’s condition, value, or maintenance history. Yet we were blamed, charged, and treated as if we were trying to scam them — all while our injured child was completely ignored. This was a serious safety failure, and Landal Seawest’s response was cold, defensive, and shameful. No responsibility. No empathy. No professionalism. We left the resort feeling angry, dismissed, and honestly betrayed. If this is how they handle dangerous situations involving children, I strongly urge others to think twice before booking here.

Horrible condition of room. Filled with stains, dirt and mould. I felt awful staying at the house. Children facilities were grat and the kids were great. Except at the house where they starting coughing the first nighe we stayed in. Staff ignored the problem and didnt seem to care.

WAARSCHUWING!!!! LET OP!!! Na een op zich aangenaam verblijf op het park en in de omgeving werden wij bij het uitchecken geconfronteerd met een energierekening van € 250,- !!! voor 6 dagen, dit is echt absurd. Wij moesten € 154,- betalen voor alleen water en € 90,- voor stroom. Toevallig kwam na ons een ander gezin uitchecken en die betaalden € 15,- voor alleen water. Dit zou betekenen dat wij 10 keer zoveel verbruikt hebben dan dat gezin in dezelfde verblijfsduur en hetzelfde aantal gasten, dit is onmogelijk. Wij waren hele dagen weg en douchten ook nog regelmatig in het Zwembad. Bij de receptie kwamen we niet verder en heb ik ter goeder trouw betaald. Had ik nooit moeten doen. In Nederland een klacht ingediend, antwoord terug dat de meterstanden dit aangaven dus pech gehad en geld weg. Boek dus op een ander park in de buurt wanneer u niet opgelicht wil worden met de energierekening, ik heb u bij deze gewaarschuwd!
