Staying in a Tulou, even though the facilities were a bit basic, offered a truly unique experience. It's definitely recommended.

What an amazing experience! It was so cool to actually stay inside a Tulou. I was lucky that my room even had an en-suite bathroom! The owner was incredibly kind; they waited up for me despite my very late check-in. Since I specifically traveled all the way from Taiwan, the owner thoughtfully lit up the beautiful red lanterns for me, which looked absolutely stunning in photos! They also helped me take pictures and booked my bus ticket down the mountain. They truly go above and beyond to care for their guests! A huge thank you to the owner! I had such a wonderful time. If I get the chance, I'll definitely bring my family and friends to visit again!

The owner, Mr. Lin, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He took the time to tell us about the history of the Tulou (Hakka Earth Buildings) and gave excellent recommendations for local food. The guesthouse is very quiet, offering a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere that you simply can't find in the city. I would wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse for future visits!
