Awesome location, in the middle of beautiful nature & next to a big river The people working there are very kind & make you really feel at home Also meeting the donkey Benni & the sheep was lots of fun

We had a beautiful stay here . We stayed overnight in a one bedroomed cottage with our own courtyard and overlooking the pool and amazing country views to the river . Breakfast was plentiful and was served on the decking overlooking the countryside and river and was so peaceful . The staff were so helpful and friendly . Booking was so easy and Monica was very attentive and messaged with lots of ideas of places to visit and where to eat . Our only regret , only staying one night . We will definitely be back 🥰

We had an amazing experience at this beautiful place. When you’ll get there, the full on nature view, with the rivier being part of that, is immediately taking your breath. The staff was super friendly and professional and the food was so delicious. Highly recommended.

Monte Do Zambujeiro was our base for a recent trip to Alentejo. Monica and her team looked after my wife and I like we had been life long friends. This fabulous property and stunning location is the ideal place to switch off and explore all that this unspoiled region has to offer. This was our first visit to the area but we will definitely return to pick up where we left off.

If you’re looking for a low keyed tranquil warm welcoming experience, this resort is it. The grounds are gorgeous overlooking the river & the villas, pool & hammocks fit in perfectly with the surroundings It is off a dirt road on a hill. The staff are the nicest people & just want you to enjoy your visit. Breakfast was delicious & bountiful. They even brought us homemade soup 2 nights & invited our 2 year old granddaughter into the kitchen to help make Easter cakes. When our car broke down, Monica, the owner went above & beyond to help us. The decks of the villas are well equipped & the staff gave us beach towels & umbrellas when we went to the nearby fabulous beach. It is clean & neat, a great place to recharge & get away from it all while still being close to town.

The location and scenery at this hotel/houses is wonderful. It is lovely and peaceful about 1km from the main road. The staff were amazing, so polite and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was top class. It was great that our dogs were allowed, they were very well catered for, with dog beds and bowls provided. We stayed in Casa da Adeja. Everything was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. There was a bath with a shower but no shower attachment so you could not stand up and shower which was a bit strange. The venue was lovely but we did think the house and contents could do with updating; the sofa in the lounge was uncomfortable and the dining area in the middle was small and cramped. The gate from the house to the swimming pool had a broken catch and would not shut properly which was a concern for us with dogs but more of a concern if you had small children who could get to the pool but I know they have a good maintenance programme and I'm sure this will be fixed. Overall we loved the area, the pool and staff but felt that our accommodation could do with updating; particularly given the cost.

This is special. Its small. Few Vunderful rooms. Great views of the river. Wonderful people. Great breakfast. Best beach and beach bar only 5 K away. We will be back

Amazing sunrise, Monica and staff took great care of us. Amazing views from the house, we will definitely go back for more. We also had a very hearty breakfast and the staff was very attentive. We went to the river and again the views were breathtaking. We recommend.

Out of Africa - this place - these wonderful people. It feels like being on the savanna somewhere in Africa - sitting here overlooking the river and the surroundings. Sounds from the nature - no noise no cars around. Enjoy. We will be back just to sit and enjoy, meet these wonderful people again - and not to forget - the world class breakfast. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
