This property is beautiful! The location is tucked in a wooded area and is amazingly peaceful and quiet. The rooms were very comfortable the breakfast was very good!

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Chateau le Quesnoy. Antoine was a wonderful host and very attentive throughout our stay, ensuring we had all we needed. We stayed in the Chambres familiales "Le Chalet" and the rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean – with very comfortable beds. Chilled water, a coffee machine and excellent wi-fi made the rooms all the more relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious (with freshly-squeezed orange juice, fresh croissants and homemade jam and honey) and the hotel provided us with a well-located base to travel between Lille and Paris for the Olympics. We also visited Compiegne and Chantilly during our stay, with are both nearby. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

The pictures of the hotel and rooms made it look like the many Chateau hotels that we have stayed in previously. Not sure why the reality was so very different. Location was convenient though it took quite some searching to our GPS even in a French rental car and we had to finally use our US phone to actually find it. Even then it was down a very long dirt Road. It was confusing because this sign merely said “Chambres d’Hote” and not Chateau Le Quesnoy. We were warmly welcomed and given a list of local restaurants that were very good and a very warm welcome. However the hotel’s family room had only one very small room for my wife and one for our son. Our host made a special effort to get food for a very early breakfast so we could get to CDG in time which we appreciated. However our bedroom had some structure framing the top of the bed and being in the country it was pitch dark, so when my wife went to the bathroom she came back and knocked her head on the wall. The contrast between this Chateau and the one we stayed at outside of Amboiser before was extremely stark: that had a true family room, spacious, modern and very well appointed; this room looked like it had not been updated for 30 years. I do not give many negative reviews but this was the most disappointing of all the hotels in our two week visit.
