We would recommend this resort. The staff could be more attentive and knowledgeable, but it was still a great experience. The hotel is confusing to find things, so be prepared to do a lot of walking and exploring on your own. Once you get the layout, then it is easy.

We had an amazing weekend! Our suite was really comfortable. The food was delicious, the cocktails were perfectly done. We took the Bourbon challenge.. highly recommend. During our stay we went hiking, we rent a pedal boat , we were at the pool , we played Bingo , we went to the happy hour.

Overpriced for Macungie, PA outside of ski season. Over $300 a night and not much offered to make this a real resort. No baby cribs and all food was mediocre at best. Staff was friendly and nice, just lacked being a real resort with a ton of amenities which is what they are going for. Prior to 4pm there is only 1 real food option which was also overpriced and mediocre.

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday for his birthday. He had a massage at the Spa while I was able to relax at the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. We had a nice dinner at the Grille and hung out for a bit at the fire pit.

Excellent stay for a wedding weekend with the whole family. We had connecting rooms in a suite, so our family of 5 was very comfortable with a kitchen, dining and living area, 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There were plenty of activities for the teens, who opted to spend most of the Saturday prior to the wedding in the pool. Breakfast at Trails End was excellent and priced well. Other than wishing the mattress was more comfortable excellent stay!!

I almost don't want to give Bear Creek the glowing review it deserves only because I want to keep it as a secret get-away all to ourselves. However, Bear Creek Resorts is a beautiful small resort located outside of Allentown PA that has something to do no matter the season. From skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, swimming in the summer, and hiking in the fall- every season has beautiful landscapes and activities for all ages. The Grille has a delicious menu, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed at this near-by resort to celebrate birthdays or just take a break form the every day grind.

Easy check in & out. Helpful & friendly staff. Delicious food at both restaurant & cafe. Very clean room & bath. Many amenities inside & out. Would highly recommend!

The resort is probably ok in the winter, but in the summer there is not much there. Any activities they have are not made clear and anything you might want to do costs money. Perhaps the Spa is nice since we did not use it I don't know. For the money I think I would have been just as happy at a Hampton Inn and driving to local attractions. The food at the Grill was way over priced given it was subpar chain restaurant quality. Nothing was remotely as it appeared in the adverting. That all being said, the room was as good as any average hotel.
