Even though I arrived part way through a busy Sunday lunch service, I was made to feel very welcome and that welcome continued throughout my 3-night stay. My room (Churchill) was spacious, comfortable and clean. Shelley's team is relatively young but each and every one of them was friendly, attentive and showed a genuine love of what they do. This, coupled with fabulous dinners and hearty breakfasts, made for a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay. A wonderful stay, thank you. (PS Try the chicken caesar croquettes, they're delicious.)

Gorgeous meal while visiting area with friends. Seafood platter to share was a great choice. Very fresh and tasty. Ceaser salad balls so different and tasty. Super main course choices also, tuna, trout and lamb equally good. Great service Lovely wine list Would definitely return and recommend

Lovely place, great food
Very friendly staff on arrival. Cosy, clean and comfy room with great facilities. Really amazing food in the restaurant. Shame I’m only here for one night! Would def book again

Lovely country inn with great staff providing excellent service and hospitality. Bedroom and bathroom was roomy and very comfortable, the restaurant food was very good, matched with nice wines. Well worth visiting or better still staying the night.

What a fantastic place to stay , beautiful room quality furnishings, everything you could possibly want and at last fresh milk in the fridge and water. lovely bed , fabulous pillows . The breakfast is tasty , prompt service and wonderful atmosphere, The setting in the middle of a beautiful village with walks , thatched houses and a relaxing bolt hole to get away from our busy world..thank you to all the staff and big shout out to the Manger who was so welcoming and attentive to the needs of everyone .
