Comfortable, stylish and well appointed accommodation with outstanding breakfast. Convenient location in an attractive village with lots to do on the doorstep, excellent range of pubs and places to eat, and easy access to lovely countryside. Very helpful, attentive service by the owners.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Mill, Long Melford. We stayed in the Garden room, which was beautiful. The property is so clean and cosy and would definitely stay again. The little added extras and the delicious breakfast served all added to the 5* experience. Thank you! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Didn't actually visit this hotel, my review for another hotel somehow got sent to this hotel by accident. I can only apologise again for this mistake. I hope this doesn't affect your excellent reviews. Will come and stay with you next time. Sharon Shaw.

it wasn't clean clothes left in room from previous guests thick dust everywhere shower plug block water didn't go down ,milk at breakfast was off had to wait 20 mins for anymore full hearty breakfast you could fit it on a tea plate eggs were hard supposed to be poached ,then got accused of having a party so the staff were not honest as everyone was in bed by 11 30 pm we were told that they never close until 11 at 10 past 10 a member came out into the garden an turned the lights off an started closing ,when we asked to speak to the manager he wasn't available we took staff to the room to show them the amount of dust it was awful the manger phoned back to say never come back here again the rudest person ever an offerd £50 off

At the mill at the moment but got to say what a beautiful place,,we are in the garden room and it is beautiful and spotless, bed is comfortable and rain shower and bath are lovely, the garden is really lovely as you have it all to yourself and weather is hot so lovely to be able to sit outside, Paul the owner is lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, so polite and chatty, we have stay in nearly all the b&b in Long Melford and this one and one more are the best and definitely 5 star, you can walk to all the pubs and restaurants here all on your doorstep and the people are very friendly, definitely will be coming back again in the future, this place is definitely a must if your looking for comfort and spotless and that little bit more because you won’t be disappointed

We just returned from a wonderful stay at this luxury B&B. Everything, from the lovely comfortable room to the excellent breakfast and the hosts welcome, was brilliant. We will definitely return. There is plenty to do in Long Melford, walks and restaurants, without needing to use the car. The perfect mini break.

What a lovely place, was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint, Paul and his partner could not have done more to make our long weekend a real pleasure? beautiful garden room and inside finished to a high standard. Highly recommend.

superb room lovely breakfast easy walk to the black lion for a brilliant dinner great all round service even noticed my bowie t shirt and played bowie at breakfast simply great i will be back in the near future maybe a winter break and i will try another of the local eaterys
