Absolutely outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Jayne and Colin are the most convivial hosts and their dogs Harvey and Guineas are adorable. The home cooked food is amazing and the portions are very filling and the local Longman beer is very drinkable . This was our second visit and we will certainly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Long Man inn. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with helpful information provided about the surrounding area - the Long Man is nearby! Delicious breakfast and friendly staff made the stay. We hope to return!

This was our 2nd visit and unfortunatley it was the 2nd time that they messed up my wifes GLUTEN FREE order. She ordered the Ploughmans and 3 times stated she was GF. When the food was served a huge piece of normal bread was on the plate. IUt was a good job we questioned it as it was normal bread. We never did find out if the waitress messed up or the kitchen messed up. NOT GOOD!! However , my burger was very nice.

Delicious lunch.. we chose a pork & leek ploughmans which came with artisan bread, very fresh salad (not just a garnish), celery etc. and also the smoked salmon w/potato cake and horseradish sauce plus a super fresh delicious side salad.. a generous portion. The pub has been renovated but still retains it's icharacter, and its nformal, comfotable and friendly atmosphere. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful.

A nights stay at the Long Man Inn
I stayed for one night and really loved my time there. The room was so lovely and clean, bathroom was beautiful. I slept so well and then had a yummy breakfast! Thank you! Would recommend!

A proper pub with rooms. Friendly staff and a clean comfortable room made for a lovely stay after walking the South Downs way from Eastbourne. Evening meal was very nice and breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
