Central Jetty Motel

This is like being in the Bates hotel from the movie Phsyco. Someone needs to find a big grader and bowl this place to the ground! Disgusting ! The pics are so misleading it’s almost funny! The pool would be perfect if you were a frog or a duck! RUN A MILE DO NOT STAY HERE!

I'm staying at Central Jetty motel with my Dog ,Yes pet friendly, The staff are amazing helped me out so much , The rooms are clean, The pool is clean, there's parks,beaches, shopping centres within walking distance. I recommend staying here.

This motel is one that you would only stay at in desperation it doesn't have many things it advertises leaf strewn pool, unclean rooms, cracks in the walls to mention a few. I have problems with mobility and was given a 1st floor room. To get access to your booked room entails using a phone and a liaise with a person who doesn't apparently speak English. The motel is in its death throes it seem a pity to pay to see this happen.

Picture of this motel in booking sites are the most deceiving I have come across. Awful old smelly dirty lacking necessary facilities outdated mouldy rusted and the list goes on and on. DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL. This motel room seems ******* to say the least. We had a leaking fridge which we had to use our bed sheets for, smoke alarm was connected to a power point (big red flag) , Sheets were dirty on arrival stained and had to be changed no sink except in the toilet. We would never recommend or stay here at all even for free nights.

Rooms are spacious, clean and the shower has great pressure and hotwater. Checkin was very easy, pool clean and great area by the pool to have dinner/drinks. Even though the motel is on a busy road not much noise is heard from the rooms. Rooms have a fridge, microwave. I would stay here again

I stayed at the Central Jetty Motel last long weekend June 22. The place was clean and recently renovated although the bathroom renovation was of poor standard with band aid fixes between old and new. A couple of hours later lots of German cockroaches were crawling out of everywhere and the next day although request was made no one cleaned the room until I walked in to the office to request fresh towels. The heater air condition was not very effective. The owners are not very friendly nor welcoming. The second night my son and his family also came to stay the night. A couple of people came at 1.30am in the morning banging on the doors turning door knobs and asking the door to be opened. No one was answering the office landline nor the mobile. My daughter in law called the police. When I raised this with the owners they said people had come in their cars drunk and he had called the police. Not a safe place to stay no gates or security. Rating of place out of 5 stars is a 1.

Unlike other reviews I found my 3day stay excellent, room was very clean aswell as bathroom and kitchenette. Staff were polite and helpful. Could do with having some major upgrades but for the price we paid I was more than happy.
