I made a reservation months in advance for two nights to celebrate my partners 76th bday. The price for two nights was ＞$1180. The room was ocean side so I assumed an ocean view. The view was of a parking lot and a sand dune! I am so disappointed and will never use trip advisor again. The room was clean but very tired and worn out. I’m shocked the reviews were so good! I’m crushed!

antiquated lodging
the room smelled like bleach when we opened the door. the bed just had a mattress on six legs, It was not even anchored to the floor, like a roll out bed. The floor was kind of sticky, and sandy feeling. There was very loud music in the court yard that played all day till about 7pm. There was a bed lamp that did not work, I told the front desk but it was never fixed, so we switched it with another, even that one was to dim.

The woman that checked me in, went out of her way to accommodate my request to be on the second floor. The grounds and the rooms are clean,however my feet were black from walking on the floors in the room. Might need to wash the floors. I would bring my slippers next time. It was nice and quiet,though we did stay at a quieter time of year. Shops and restaurants are a short drive away,and easy access to the beach and the beautiful beach at the nature preserve a short drive away. Easy check out. Also a nice pool on the grounds.

Clean, comfortable, no-frills hotel in Holgate.
Convenient to the beach and ice cream. :-) A short car or bike ride into Beach Haven where all the action is.

Great old school motel
Super clean, old-school LBI motel. Excellent beach access with free beach badges. Great picnic area and nice heated pool. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious. Beds comfortable.

Superb Short Stay
The rooms were big. It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Very nice value for the price for a short stay on the island. Lots of things to do on property - swimming, ping pong, foosball, basketball, grills. Close to Fantasy Island and quick access to the beach
