This hotel offers decent value for money with standard amenities and satisfactory breakfast options. However, I was deeply disappointed by their post-check-out protocol regarding forgotten items.
During my stay, I left several opened and unopened food items in the room's refrigerator. Unfortunately, the staff disposed of or retained these items without attempting to notify me—a stark contrast to my recent experience at a rural Liverpool hotel, where the front desk promptly informed me about a forgotten perfume. While the financial loss here was minor (around £30), the lack of communication reflects poorly on customer care standards.
For a reputable establishment in London, such oversight is unexpected. I urge management to revise their policies: a simple message to guests about abandoned belongings would greatly improve trust and professionalism.

No more than average.
Avoid booking the single room which is extremely small, very difficult to open my suitcase. Airless hallway always smells bad and very narrow to move.
Breakfast is just OK, that front lady there is very nice I liked her.
Finally I was declined by the restaurant as I didn't book, so I walked to Bailey's hotel to have my dinner which was awesome there.
I would not recommend this hotel to be honest.

For this large property, the rooms are too small. It gets you a feel of being in an London Underground train - tight. The bathroom and shower area were small. The bed was shaky. One of the lower standard of Hilton I have stayed.
Location wise, it was relatively close to the tube and bus stop, but still relatively far from the city center.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, and VA Museum, and is very suitable for traveling. The surroundings are very quiet. Besides, the hotel service is very good, helping with luggage and cleaning. It is a very good experience and highly recommended.

Excellent service, location, decor, and quality fo rooms. When I first checked in, I noticed the hot water was not running. Within less than an hour I the hot water issue was corrected; the staff were pleasant, professional, friendly, and indeed went above and beyond regarding service.
Great early check in. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location minutes from Knightsbridge Underground and multiple bus routes. Harrods mere minutes walk. Room clean . Furnishings a bit dated . Bed a small double but comfortable. Air conditioning inadequate to cool with sun directly on windows with no opening. Just good out sightseeing as room became unbearably warm during day. Breakfast expensive.

Aged facilities from the carpet to the lift, but the last straw was dusty bedsheets and pillows. I couldn’t sleep well but it was too late by the time we checked in. When we asked to change the sheets the next morning, it was only done after repeated reminders.
I liked the rather convenient location with several cafes and stores just outside the hotel but the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired.

The Marriott Residence Inn Kensington is within walking distance to Kensington Garden and Palace where Queen Victoria and late Princess Diana used as their prime residence. Our room has a kitchen and cooking utensils and the hotel is right next to Tesco grocery. The nearest Tube station is about 15-20 minutes walk, but the Heathrow bus station is only 5 minutes walk.

I booked a studio apartment, but it was upgraded to a luxury one-bedroom open-plan room.
Price: 2400 RMB/night on average, booked on Ctrip six months in advance.
The hotel is located in South Kensington, 3 minutes walk to the subway station, where you can take the P line or C/D line; 5 minutes walk to the VA Museum, Natural History Museum, Science Museum; 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park; 15 minutes walk to Knightsbridge Harrods; 50 minutes by P line subway to Heathrow, and about 35 minutes by taxi. There is also bus No. 14 at the door, which takes 40 minutes to get to the entrance of the British University and enjoy the scenery along the way. It is a very good choice. There are many delicious restaurants around the hotel: pho: go viet, another mamapho, honest burger, wasabi, a delicious French ham (highly praised by family members), prets, Starbucks, venchi, Kova cake where you can meet Beckham, and Japanese sushi that I haven't eaten. If you walk a little further, you can also go to va for the most beautiful afternoon tea, or go to harrods' dine hall for a big meal. As for supermarkets, you can walk to a tesco in 3 minutes, and there is also a waitrose a little further away. It is near the university (Imperial College), which is really convenient.
The room is 38 square meters, with a bedroom + living room layout, a five-foot double bed, and the bedding is ordinary but acceptable. There is an independent kitchen and bathroom, and the kitchen is fully equipped: there is a capsule coffee machine, induction cooker, dishwasher, washing and drying washing machine, pots and pans, and cleaning supplies. The toilet in the bathroom is also equipped with a washlet. Washing and care are all available, but you need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. It is amazing that when the electric heated towel rack is turned on, part of the floor tiles are also automatically heated, which is barefoot friendly. The TV is equipped with a set-top box. I have been following the international situation through Phoenix TV for several days. I hope that the world will be peaceful and the return trip will not be affected.
The temperature dropped sharply on the first day in London. I transferred from Charles de Gaulle to Heathrow at 8 o'clock. There was another rain on the way to the hotel. I was freezing and particularly embarrassed. The front desk was the only Indian brother who understood English on this trip. He was very friendly. He let us check in in advance and provided a workroom for us to store our luggage and change clothes. What's more, after changing clothes, our room was also ready. The room also thoughtfully prepared two boxes of Shin Ramyun, biscuits, a box of milk, a bottle of mineral water and sparkling water, various tea bags and capsule coffee. After a little repair, I went out beautifully.
The hotel security is also excellent. It is located in a relatively safe area. In South Ken, there are even few people crossing the road at a red light. Although the hotel is along the street, the access control is turned on after 6 o'clock in the evening, and you need to swipe your card to enter. The front desk staff are mostly Indian, but they are very friendly. They greet guests when they come in and out. Occasionally, when you meet the cleaning staff in the elevator, you will greet them and have some small talk. By the way, the room is cleaned every day and is very well organized. Water and capsule coffee are also replenished every day, which makes people feel at ease.
In general, I will still consider staying here next time I come to London, and I will recommend it to others. After all, London is really expensive now. You can only sleep on a massage bed for 1,500 yuan a night, and the ** for 4,000 yuan a night is also a pile, and you will encounter all kinds of weird things. It's really warm to stay in this hotel!

GGuest UserThe room seems to have been newly renovated not long ago, so it has a bit of smell. Everything else is OK, except that the air conditioner is a bit cold at night.
The hotel is in a good location, quiet in a busy area, and very convenient to go anywhere. You can get there in a short walk.
TTeacher HarryThis place is in need of renovation. One out of three elevators was functional when I checked in. Another was repaired later, but they’re very slow. The toilet was not secured to the floor. The plumbing fixtures are all from last century. There was a persistent rumbling noise from the heating and ventilation equipment on the roof that some people might find annoying.
The staff were pleasant enough, but the facility needs work.
FforfifaThe location is so great! It's only a three-minute walk from Kensington subway station! It's so convenient to travel! The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning and internet are great! We spent a few unforgettable days in London. There is a hamburger street around, and there are many hamburger restaurants! There is a Marks & Spencer supermarket not far from the hotel, which has everything you need to buy. There is also a bus stop one minute away from the hotel, which can go to London's ”Global Harbor”! The surrounding area is very safe, and there are no motorcycle gangs! The hotel staff are very nice! Finally, the hotel's Western breakfast is a set meal, which I think is delicious!

GGuest Userthe place is very nice and very comfortable. the hotel service is very friendly and fast. the cleanliness of the hotel is very well maintained. the place is very strategic 👌
PpelicantThe shopper preferred, Harold turned to the corner, next to the Harold underground parking lot, you can watch luxury cars. Because there is a friend who loves shopping, we chose to stay here for three nights. We rarely lived in such a boutique hotel before, but I didn't expect the experience to be very good. Both the front desk and the person responsible for luggage and cleaning are very attentive; the hotel is small and beautiful, but the rooms are large and comfortable, beautifully furnished, and the sofa is free for children. (This time I lived in five hotels in the UK, only one of them received an extra bed fee, which is very friendly to families with children). The adjacent room at the front desk is a library and a bar, breakfast is also here, in addition to the continental breakfast, you can also order a single point. It is not without flaws. For example, the mattress should not be an independent spring. Turning over will affect the people around you; the bathtub and the shower are integrated, and you must slip carefully when entering or exiting. In short, it is a very cute experience, thank you for the staff here, and thank you for the three glasses of champagne. See you next time in London.
GGuest UserWe haven't been to London for a while - obvious reasons. The Ashburn hasn't changed. Still an excellent, friendly, quality hotel. And booking through Trip.com made it even better value.
