Great service and friendly staff were always available.
Breakfast was great for what you paid, and it was all you can eat. Toast, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, not a full English breakfast but very affordable.
Things like amenities such as washing and towels were available, but had to pay a small price extra for.
The facilities were good and there was a bar/hang out area which was open each night and made it very easy to.mingle with fellow travellers.
Very central to the city and most landmarks were walking distance about an hour or so which is good when visiting a new city. Of course the London tube is available.
Would highly recommend anyone travelling to London solo for a nice experience to meet fellow travellers without breaking the bank.
The receptionists are very patient and friendly, and the facilities are very complete.
The only drawback is that the sound insulation is not good and the sirens outside the window are very noisy.
Accessing the property was not hugely clear as I could not receive the instructional video via Trip, but once that was arranged with the staff directly everything else was easy. Handy welcome pack inside the pod of ear plugs, water, a towel and earphones for the tv. Pod was comfy enough. Earplugs are a must as you might get stuck with a noisy neighbour (as I did) but otherwise for what I paid it served its purpose
Good points:
-Services are great and staff are helpful and nice.
-Free tea and coffee
-Near supermarket and train station
-Small light next to the bed
Bad points:
-The toilet is a bit smelly
-Hair dryers are located in B1/F which is inconvenient
-Small kitchen
-Will be noisy at night sometime because of the bars nearby
-Expensive laundry (about 8 pounds)
Everything was good, the breakfast was fine, the room clean, and the staff friendly, the only problem was that the room we were in was right to the main street that was a bit noisy with cars passing by.

YYukiIf you pay this inexpensive price in Zone 2 during the high holiday week, you can't definitely expect any luxury, and that is exactly what I wanted. Yes the facility is old but lines were clean, beds were comfortable. Shower was hot and strong. Quiet inside rooms and we felt safe. We booked one double, one twin rooms, but we had basically a whole flat to ourselves. The twin room had triple beds with kitchen facility, and the other double room (completely lockable and both ensuite) is originally another bedroom in a flat. Both rooms catered our needs beautifully and we had great time in central London. I will definitely use this accommodation again.
