Locke Hotels in London

Great Aparthotel with spacious rooms. Literally next to Aldgate East station, making travelling in London very easy. There is also a cafe on the ground floor with good coffee and snacks. Only critique - I’d prefer a nespresso machine to coffee bags.

Locke at Broken Wharf offers a great location with wonderful accommodation. It had everything we needed, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Definitely highly recommended.

Really convenient location to central London, about 15 mins walk to London Bridge Underground station. It’s a svc apt so don’t expect daily housekeeping, but you can change your towels at the front desk just fine. Only downside is that there is no door that separates the toilet and the shower, so water leaks out and you will have a very wet toilet. The towels in our toilet increased by each day as we had to build a fort around the shower so we don’t step on cold wet tiles when we do our business.

The stay was very nice and convenient! We booked an early check in (from 2 o’clock on) yet something went wrong and we couldn’t check in before 4 o’clock. As compensation we received a free late check out (1 o’clock instead of 11) and weren’t charged anything! :) The room was in all clean, just the couch wasn’t as clean as expected. We just put a cover over it. In all it’s a pretty nice and safe area with lots of tall office buildings and we had a pretty nice view out of our room! Also the tube isn’t far away, I’d say 2-3 minutes walk. If even, it’s around the corner. In all a wonderful stay! Might even stay there again for the next trip

Such an interesting apart hotel, starting from the design of the rooms ending with bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The girl at the reception desk was very kind and gave us the room with the garden view. There was almost everything you need for the perfect stay. Even ironing board. We liked the curtains shielded us from the morning sunlight. The only negative point was that the shower in the bathtub was fixed by the chain and the ring to the wall (?) — very inconvenient. Also the water was draining barely. 8,5 / 10!
