I had a single room and when I entered the room it smelled of a hint of sewers. Can’t say this is for all rooms as I haven’t been in them of course but that was my experience. The room was clean just had a bad smell.
Had breakfast included and the staff were lovely.
It’s an old style hotel with a tiny tv right in the upper corner of the room which you probably can’t see from your bed.

Wonderful experience stayed in The Clermont London, Charing Cross.
Good staffs, services, restaurants. As well as the great location, it's actually located in the best spot of London, close to the museums, subway, and train stations.
Will definitely recommend people to stay here, and I'll also surely come back again.

This hotel is small but have all you need. New and unique.
Staffs are friendly and welcoming, totally no communication problem, can speak cantonese and mandarin. Strong recommend

Very central hotel, within walking distance of everything. The room is very complete, with a kitchen, microwave and fridge. It also has air conditioning and a safe. The bathroom has soap, shampoo and shower gel at your disposal. The staff is very friendly and does their job perfectly. They don't clean the room unless you ask and pay extra.

The hotel is very centralized. Walkable distance to most of the tourist attractions like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace etc. size of room is small but it's okay for a solo traveller. There is also a police station right opposite the hotel which makes you feel safer. There are also alot of restaurants and pubs around. Subways are also walkable. Definitely worth a stay.

I always stay at this hotel every time I go to London. It is right outside the subway station, opposite Trafalgar Square, and only a dozen minutes' walk from Chinatown and Soho. The Thames is just a few minutes in the opposite direction, and Big Ben and the London Eye can be seen in ten minutes. However, among hotels with the same geographical location and comfortable environment, this one is the cheapest! !

The hotel is located in a great location, minutes walk from different Tube stations and close to the National Gallery. You can also take a nice walk up the Mall through the garden and towards Buckingham Palace. And you can get to Chinatown within 15 minutes walk and Covent Garden within 10 minutes walk. The hotel is a bit old but they have maintained it well.
