For Heavy Sleepers Only.
I stayed on the second floor with a window facing the street, and it was extremely noisy both nights. There is no chance of leaving the windows open. Even with them closed, you can still hear people returning from a night out, talking loudly and banging car doors below. Friday night was the worst, with non-stop noise from one until four in the morning. They did not just walk past – they stood outside and chatted for ages.
Aside from the noise, the hotel is modern and in an excellent location, just three minutes’ walk from Russell Square station with lifts. The staff are helpful, but something really does need to be done about the noise.
Ideal for heavy sleepers or anyone who is not bothered by a bit of nightlife, but not recommended if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel's location is excellent, practically on the UCL campus. The city center is a 10-15 minute walk away, and the bus is also convenient if you prefer. The hotel's cleanliness seemed okay on the surface, but... one detail really shocked me. There was a fan with so much dust on it that it looked like it hadn't been there for years. Did the hotel completely ignore how dirty this fan was? Dust can also be seen on the bed backrest. See the pictures for yourself.
