Virgin Hotels London Shoreditch

Perfect location im East London with multiple Great restauracja And bars on the doorstep. Rooms are refurbished and in high standard. Public spaces are not massive but well designed. Breakfast on a roof top is amazing. Very welcoming staff.

We really loved staying here, it’s so clean and the staff are absolutely lovely. The bathroom has a steam shower! It’s so relaxing and the rooms are modern and beautiful! The gym is the best hotel gym we’ve been to ever! Easy to get into London to see a show The staff were so nice we even left sunglasses there and they could not of been more helpful in getting them back to us - absolutely top of the range service and hotel

we had an amazing time - we really liked the Hidden Grooves bar - the staff, food and drinks were all first class, the DJ when on played great music and the playlists during the day were great too.

Reception on arrival appeared very unhappy and unhelpful. Attempted conversation with man at desk with little communication - he didn’t look happy to be at his work which set us off with a disappointing start to the stay however the check in was done efficiently and the room was ready for our arrival. Highlights were the rooftop area for breakfast with some funky music and bar downstairs - enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks. We attempted to go to marlins bar on Saturday evening for a drink however we were abruptly dismissed by the girls on the desk and were told it was too full and couldn’t come in - despite being hotel guests. They did not appear apologetic and frankly appeared quite stuck up. We managed to have some time in the gym however when exiting the lift there was an overwhelming smell of sewage - to the point we had to hold our noses - however other than this the gym was well equipped with everything you needed and was very clean. Overall an okay stay at this hotel however some staff made the stay disappointing.
