Very kind, everything we needed.

Stayed here and paid £126, has to be one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Did not read the reviews before booking! Was on the ground floor, there was a air conditioning unit on the floor that blew out hot air, turned it down to the lowest setting and within 30 seconds, it was up to 30 degrees. As we were on the ground floor you couldn’t even open the windows to get any air in! Had a concert to go to and was absolutely soaking wet leaving the room due to it being so warm! Work up in the morning you’d swear i just got out of the bath! Its not safe there! How we didn’t collapse due to the heat i don’t know and my back is in bits from the bed!

The gentleman on reception - Chaudry - was so incredibly helpful and kind when I’d had a stressful day and had a (self inflicted) issue with my key. He was a patient and kind and so helpful. Great location and a comfy stay. Basic functional room. Hot and powerful shower. Very good value for money.

Absolutely stank of smoke and bad plumbing. We went to politely ask to change rooms and let them know about the smoke and he seemed annoyed and told us the smell was coming from the street. This wasn’t true as the street was empty and there were cigarette butts on the window sill. We weren’t able to change rooms. Mentioned it again in the morning to a different man at the desk and he just glared at us, no apology or offer of a refund / partial refund. The staff were really rude right from the start, apart from the cleaner who we passed in the hall - she was very smiley and friendly. We then tried to get a refund through ******* but they couldn’t get through to the hotel to authorise it. I think this is the first time I have ever left a bad review.
