The Reception staff member who dealt with us was lovely, courteous, patient and helpful. Although it said it was 3 pm check in our room was only being vacated by the household staff at 3.30. The bar staff all but one member were so indifferent to us, couldn’t have cared less if we were there or not. We also found the reception in the health club quite indifferent as well. In the morning we went for a swim. We went down for a swim at 8.15 am. The ladies changing room hadn’t been cleaned, dirty towels lying around, lots of tissues lying on benches and in the toilets. When I went back an hour later the towels and dirty tissues had been removed. On leaving the swimming pool and entering the reception area someone had left the floor wet and I slipped and fell. Now it was another customer who came to my aid and helped me up and ascertained I was okay, although a member of staff came over, none of the staff asked if I had been hurt, why I had slipped but after telling them they still did nothing about drying the floor so no one else would slip. I really think they should be trained in hospitality issues as well as their other duties.
