The receptionists and cleaners were friendly and smiling. The single room was very minimalist (especially the bathroom structure, including the sink, was difficult for a petite Asian woman to use, but I soon got used to it), but it was clean and came with an electric kettle, teacups, spoons, glasses, coffee, and tea bags. (The spoons were very useful. From my experience, disposable spoons, forks, and chopsticks are not always sold in British supermarkets, and many do not provide them for free, so I recommend bringing them along with slippers, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.) There is no breakfast service, but there are Burger Kings and small supermarkets (Sainsburys Local, Marks & Spencer Simply Food) nearby, so it is also suitable for those who want to keep food costs down. There are some limitations for the price, such as no elevator and narrow stairs (so avoid bringing large suitcases if possible; you basically have to carry them yourself), no daily cleaning service (I stayed four nights and they cleaned it once on the second day, but they change the trash cans every day), weak water pressure in the shower (hot water works fine), thin walls, etc. However, if you negotiate with the reception, they can accommodate things like changing towels and using the microwave (they will take it to the kitchen). After checking out, you can store your suitcase for free (it may depend on the size, but in my case I carried it to the storage room on the first basement floor by myself. The stairs here are also narrow, so please be careful) The location is great, so I appreciate that it's in the center of the city and at this price.
