The room is not big, but the layout is reasonable and British style. The waiter is friendly. I seem to be the only Chinese staying here. The location is great, there are so many restaurants nearby! It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the British Museum and only a few minutes to the Elizabeth Line. Very convenient! The price is not cheap but I still recommend it!

The hotel is located on a quiet street, but many restaurants and eateries are just round the corner.
Easy tinget around with oxford street nearby.
I would highly recommend to stay here.

Can't fault it. Extremely kind and thoughtful staff. I have invisible disabilities that can wreck my trips to London and thanks to the kindness and understanding of this team, I had a fabulous trip. Beautiful room. Great location. As a solo traveller the walk to the nearest tube has a quieter side road that's not ideal but felt perfectly safe for London. Lots of local restaurants and eateries. The team at the Rathbone should be congratulated on their exceptional customer service. Thank you. It meant a lot. (Shame the price varies so much or I would have booked it for August straight away.)

Wonderful stay as always! We've been regular guests at this hotel and it never disappoints. The location is simply perfect – surrounded by great restaurants and bars, and just a short walk from Oxford Street. This is a classic hotel, very well maintained, with an elegant and timeless atmosphere. The cleanliness is always impeccable, and the service is truly outstanding. The staff go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable – special thanks to Dankan, Ikram, Vanessa, Vasco, and Jesus, who always take great care of us.

Hotel was pleasant enough in a good location but there was extensive building work going on - at no point during the booking or confirmation process was there any indication of the work that was ongoing. It started around 0930 until 1630 daily meaning constant drilling and hammering for most of the day. If I had been made aware I would have looked elsewhere. No apologies for the noise at all.

The hotel is dated and somewhat tired in appearance. The bed was tiny and the bathroom old fashioned (had a shower curtain). You dont stay here for the facilities you stay for the location. On a positive note the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Great to be back at this friendly, efficient and comfortable hotel which is so well situated in London for public transport, superb restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The staff at reception and the breakfast room are now like old friends and are a key reason for making this our automatic choice of where to stay when in London.
