An ideal setup for what I needed. It’s no frills, but it was clean, comfortable, and the room I had at the back was lovely and quiet in the night. Location is 5 mins brisk walk to West Hampstead tube, from there....well, most of London is doable in 15-30 mins. West Hampstead is a lovely area too, not too busy and touristy. Would stay again.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette hotel en famille. Le directeur de l'hôtel n'a pas été correct. Nous avions un vol tôt à l'arrivée, nous avons du le prevenir 30 minutes avant l'arrivée pour déposer les bagages puis à nouveau en fin de journée pour pouvoir avoir la chambre. Nous avons procédé ainsi mais sommes arrivés 15 minutes en retard pour prendre la clé. Il était ennervé. Du coup, au départ, nous l'avons contacté 24 heures avant le départ pour voir comment stocker nos bagages. Malgré 2 emails, 1 appel, il n'a pas répondu. Nous avons du passer notre dernière journée avec les enfants et les valises. Sinon le quartier est sympa, la chambre ok mais la salle de bain aussi minuscule qu'une cabine de douche. Lorsque vous aurez réglé la note, avant de prendre votre chambre, vous ne verrez probablement plus personne. Ce n'est pas digne d'un hotel, c'est plutôt comme un airbnb.

Very nice and quiet stay. Comfy and cosy. Victorian style and house of character & history. Martin is a perfect host, very helpful and truly caring for his customers. Tailored service! Quiet place. Super bedding and internet - very clean. Nice & green peaceful neighbourhood- very easy access to St Pancras International.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights. Despite we had agreed to check in at 2 pm the owner, a young and very kind guy allowed us to put our backpacks as soon as we arrived in London. The hotel is in a nice quiet area is near the metro and the bus stop from where you can reach everything. Excellent evaluation clean and tidy room. If we return it will be our choice

I stayed at the Dawson House hotel for a solo trip to South Hampstead. I got a nice room - pleasant and extremely clean. The hotel is very well located within South Hampstead - and few minutes walk from main tube stations, high streets and the O2 shopping centre. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - and helped me with everything I needed. I'll definitely stay there again.

Everything we need. Lovely clean room on the second floor (no lift) within 10-15 minutes of central London but more importantly for us near our daughter in nearby Dollis Hill. Martin was as charming and helpful as the previous reviews have said and gave us plenty of information on places to eat and drink along with the best stations to go to for the various locations we needed to be at over our stay in London. Great location, set nearby to 3 different train stations that can easily get to anywhere within London and it's outer reaches. Room, as said was clean and we had pleasant weather during our stay so room temperature was just right. Plenty of storage and Freeview TV with options for Netflix, Prime video etc. Bathroom was a little small but fine for us and the shower was spot on for heat and power. Nice big bed and I slept pretty well but my wife said she struggled a bit, but you get that when on uncommon ground from time to time I guess. Would I go again - a big YES!!!!!

I never even got to the hotel. The day after I had made my booking via ***********, I was informed of the death of a family member. I therefore relayed this information to Martin at Dawson House and hoped for a refund and cancellation as I was obviously no longer able to attend my trip. This was less than 24 hours after the initial booking. The refund was refused. Yes, it was listed as non-refundable on *********** but you'd think any decent human being could sympathise with this situation and provide a refund especially considering the current cost of living crisis and it being so close to Christmas. If this is the customer service received via emails, one can only imagine how shocking it must be at the hotel itself.
