The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was small but very nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed … coffee/tea makers, hair dyer, plenty of towels. Housekeeping was great. Great location to many of the sites we visited and close to a tube station. Very quick neighborhood. Easy walk to restaurants.

Great location, awesome service, and clean. The rooms are a bit snug, but totally fine, and the bathrooms are ok. Recommended for a short trip.

The hotel and suite were lovely and boutique and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they are marked down however because breakfast service was very poor, the room was not serviced properly and we had no toilet paper and no milk in the room. In my work I stay in many hotels across the country and these things are basic and should be checked every time a room is serviced. Such a shame that this marred the overall experience for my partners birthday.

The downside of most hotels are that they are large, soulless coporate brands. For people seeking a higher quality, affordable, more intimate hotel experience, this is an excellent boutique hotel. Good sized bathrooms and top notch showers. Friendly people, happy to help you

We recently stayed for one night while attending a show at the Albert Hall The location is excellent - a short walk Having stayed at 54 Queens Gate twice before we opted to book a superior room as we assumed they would be located on the upper floors. At check-in we were advised that no we would be in the basement area. The room itself was large, clean and very comfortable with a small outside sitting area (Smoking zone) but with limited natural light - not to my liking. The staff member advised that should we stay again to ensure we indicate our preference for a room in the upper level. We didn't take breakfast so can't comment We will consider this hotel again when visiting the Albert Hall

This hotel is a hidden gem. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, it was exceptional. Room 1 was lovely and roomy. Bedding so cosy and comfortable. Can’t fault the decor or cleanliness. The manager came and greeted us in check out. What a lovely touch. Made our day! We will be back.

Great quirky hotel. Very convenient location in close proximity to many of the local london hotspots that I wanted to visit. Comfortable stay and will be looking to stay again when Im in the area. The staff were very friendly and th room itself was perfect for a solo traveller like me.

I’m an older woman travelling alone for a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Hotel conveniently situated. I was shown to a basement room with windows out to the street. Woken at 3am to the sound of the gate to the basement opening and footsteps outside my window. Absolutely terrified. Phoned reception-no answer. 5mins later reception called back-he had been picking up the rubbish bag outside my window! I was shaking and never got back to sleep. At checkout I complained to the manager (another male staff member also present) and was absolutely disgusted at the response. ‘The hotel is safe. No-one has said anything before etc. So patronising. Like many women I have been sexually assaulted and also been burgled several times. The fear is real.
