Highly recommended, very cost-effective, 5 minutes walk from the subway station, some rooms do not have elevators, there are people at the front desk to help with luggage, free cookies are delicious, but 🈶 slippers, rare in Thailand, I have recommended it to my friends, at the price of 840, my friends don't believe such a good configuration in downtown London

Aside from the receptionist who was exceptionally helpful and friendly, this hotel is nothing like the pictures and I have no idea how anyone would be giving this five stars! We booked an ‘Executive Suite’. There was absolutely nothing executive about this carpet stained, bedding stained, grubby, small room. The only good thing aside from the lady on reception is the location. Literally everything else is very poor. So many others were also complaining that I felt sorry for the lady on reception. Even our coffee machine didn’t work. Would never recommend this hotel and the receptionist should find somewhere else to work.

Only stayed the one night and only used to freshen up and sleep but certainly expected more for a 4* hotel. I can also only base it on what was called a "deluxe double" with breakfast and was not a cheap stay. ROOM PRO'S: Great area for us as at an event in hyde park, close to park and tube. Very quiet area and quiet in the room over night. Had tea/coffee facility, toiletry, hairdryer,safe,iron and ironing board and air con plus fan. Unfortunately thats where it ends. CON'S: The room can only be described as grubby. Furniture battered, carpet threadbare in places and liquid splatter marks and stains up the walls. Bathroom smelt of mould/damp/old water, can't quite describe it ! Cardboard coffee cups (1 each) and no spoons. The mattress was thin and you could feel the springs a bit but if your not a mobile sleeper you will be fine. Curtains didn't fit the full width of the window and didn't want to pull them down trying too much! So light came in at the crack of dawn. Really hoping breakfast was going to redeem the hotel at this point. BREAKFAST: Edible. Thats it! We have all been to a hotel and seen at certain times everyone seems to come down at the same time! DONT! They have 6 tables, thats it. They have the basics, toast, cereal (2 types) mini pastries (2 types) juice and yoghurts. The cooked was ok but definitely lower quality food, beans watery and no taste and hash browns were bit grey in the potatoe. Very small serving dishes so make sure you go under it to get the hot ones. Sausages cheap Cumberland. Now as I said we only spent 1 night but having been in others in the area that are 4*, this place really isn't that standard. So this review is for anyone who is paying good money for a good length of stay to be mindful of what the price will give you. I am by no means fussy and have stayed in many hotels lower star rating but with the mindset it is lower and have had my expectations pleasantly surprised. I'm afraid I begrudge my hard earned money with this one. Only met 2 staff on this stay and they were lovely so another pro!

The hotel was filthy. The chair in our room was stained and covered in crumbs. The desk was sticky, the blinds broken and to top it all there was a dead fly stuck to a wall. They only provided three pillows for a double bed and the phone didn’t work. I was told that I would be contacted by guest services, but have heard nothing from them. Although the front desk staff were pleasant, I’d never recommend the venue and would highly recommend others to avoid it. If you’re considering this hotel, I’d also check out similar reviews from others before booking - I wish I had.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The location is great, but that’s where the positives end. The room is small and well in need of refurbishments. It wasn’t particularly clean, stains on un-hoovered carpet, stained curtains, windows that clonked and wobbled in the wind. The bathroom smelt damp and had mould around the shower and the lock on the bathroom door was broken. Milk sachets were off and curdled our coffee. We didn't even attempt room service or breakfast as we suspected we would be disappointed. This hotel is in a quiet back street of Lancaster Gate but was definitely not worth the £233 a night price tag. Will never return to this hotel and would not recommend it. Spend your money elsewhere.

The location is nice, almost in front of Hyde Park and very close to the underground The room was spacious, but definitely not new The biggest problem was that the room was not cleaned properly, there was crumbles all over the moquette, stains and a lot of dust on the nightstands Also, the shower was leaking and some of the towels were stained (they were however promptly replaced once asked at the reception) The staff at the reception was helpful, but not very enthusiastic I think the score would be higher if the cleanness could improve

Not sure how they can badge this as a 4* hotel! Plug sockets hanging off the wall and the rooms are definitely not sound proof as they are claiming they are. You can hear everything from other rooms/outside. Don’t expect to have a sound nights sleep if someone in a room near you or above, below is getting up early. And the room service? What a joke. They have a QR code for room service and a whole menu to choose from. Thought we would try breakfast. They charge you a tray charge which is the funniest thing but actually the food gets delivered from outside and just left with reception in a sorry looking bag. They don’t bother telling you when it arrives - you have to make sure you check your junk mail for confirmation of ‘delivery’ and then go down to get it. That would be fine if the hotel actually told you this is the process - but we were hugely disappointed. The food that came was so unappetising that it was £30 down the drain - it did not get eaten! The bathroom wasn’t clean, lots of hairs all over the floor. Will not be going here again which is a shame because it’s a fantastic location.

Firstly - this hotel is FILTHY. Do not stay here if you have any cleanliness standards. First room I was put in (photos) had black mould around windows and in the shower, hairs on the bathroom floor, all the walls were filthy with various stains, crumbs and dust on every surface. I thought okay, it’s one night I can try to ignore it, but I was also next to the very noisy lift so I asked if I could move to a quieter room as I needed to try and sleep early as I had an early flight the next day. The receptionist did very kindly oblige but moved us to a room where the Tv didn’t work. I went back to a new person on reception and they said they’d upgrade us to a bigger room instead (the lady previous told me no other rooms available), and when we went to pack up our stuff we found someone else’s DIRTY SOCK had been left on the floor. How do “cleaners” miss that?!!!! when we got in to our third room we found the air con did not work. It is too hot in London right now to stay in a high floor room with no air con. Our only option was to go back to the dirty sock room with no tv or the filthy room next to the lift so we opted to leave and I am grateful they let us do that which is why I’ve given service more than one star. They told us they had problems with air con in multiple rooms and asked us not to use the room while we tried to find a new place to stay because they would still try to sell them!!! In addition, we met two other guests in reception who were contacting the police as their bags had been broken into whilst in their rooms. So please be aware your things are not safe!!!!

Stayed for three nights with my 74 year old Mum, and unfortunately, it was a let-down from start to finish. While the staff were friendly and smiley, the hotel itself left much to be desired. First off, the room was basic at best. We were given just two coat hangers for two women staying three nights – hardly sufficient. We requested more and received just two additional hangers. Tea and coffee sachets were damaged and open, and the USB port was broken. The bathroom situation was even worse. The liquid soap dispensers were empty, so we left them out to be refilled – they weren’t. Reported that the toilet wasn't flushing properly, but after a long day out, we returned to find it still not fixed. And as for the shower and bath – the water was tepid at best. I had specifically requested a bath to soak after a long day of walking, but a lukewarm bath isn’t exactly relaxing. Breakfast was another let-down – cold and unappealing. To top it all off, the supposedly "clean" towels smelled distinctly of sweaty feet. Friendly staff alone isn't enough to compensate for a subpar stay. Wouldn't recommend and certainly wouldn’t stay here again.
