I wanted to stay in a London neighborhood and this South Kensington area was charming. The service stood out, some of the best we’ve ever encountered. The lobby and restaurant are beautifully decorated and they have two bars. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of local and standard breakfast items, including a ton of fresh pastry items. As with a lot of these boutique city hotels, they squeeze rooms into existing spaces. The elevators are small, but fortunately there are two of them. Our room was tiny, we had about 3 feet of space around our king sized bed. Our friend’s room was much larger and they had a mini fridge and bathtub that we did not. We got in late and left early, so it didn’t really matter. If you are staying there longer than that, ask to see your room if you can.
