Brilliantly situated YHA in London with affordable private rooms, cafe, bar, communal kitchen, lounge, clean rooms and comfy beds.
About a 30minute scenic walk to Tower Bridge, an excellent location for budget travellers.

The ensuite shower and toilet do have any shelves for toiletries. Imagine having 6 of us placing our toiletries on the floor whilst we shower. Likewise for the toilet where we have only the space around the sink for toothbrushes, toothpaste and what not.

If you’re looking for a cheap single room in a hostel in London, this is the place for you. I got a private room with a bathroom for two nights for 76 quid which is very good for London. The room was very basic but has everything you need & a shared kitchen. Wouldn’t say it was the cleanest but unsurprising for that price. It’s close to an overground and underground station, 10-15 minutes walk. You can easily access the centre but the area itself is very quiet. I felt safe in the hostel and the staff were nice and friendly. It frustrates me that I have to say things like this but unfortunately if you’re a solo woman getting to the hostel in the dark from the tube - get a bus. The roads were dead silent walking to the hostel and I had the unpleasant experience of being followed by someone in a car. I should hope this was an isolated incident but I recommend being cautious nonetheless. Not a comment on the hostel at all - but just a bad reality of London. Would stay here again.

Would come back!
The stay was very nice! My friends and I spent 4 nights in a 6 bed room.
Basic room and reception, but clean and well kept. Workers were kind and helpful. Beds were comfy and with a nice thick duvet. Windows could be opened and every bed had their own outlet and light.
Two things that could be better is more large storage lockers and quieter bathroom fans.
Overall a plesant stay, would come back!
