BASIC but reasonable value, ~£60 for the night. Good as place to get your head down for the night. I checked in just before midnight and had to wait for 10 mins for the receptionist to come from another property to let me in. Small room. Subtle odour like an old worn-out shoe! Otherwise, all good; you get what you pay for.

I was really scared after reading reviews but it was absolutely fine, lovely clean room, we did have the basement and I was nervous for my 13 year old but it was clean and had all we needed, the bathroom outside the room was absolutely spotless with clean towels and shampoo/soap provided. The staff were absolutely lovely, I didn’t get his name but a guy on reception so pleasant and let us get into our room a bit earlier, would definitely stay again. Thank you

The only positive for this hotel is it's proximity to the tube (Russell Square, Piccadilly line is 2-3 mins walk) and Kings Cross station (5 mins walk) It's an old building so while they do state there is no lift they don't mention there is no double glazing so it's VERY noisy. The area is busy due to nearby pubs and restaurants and it's a roadside hotel so due to this the noise from the street goes on til the early hours of the morning. Good luck trying to sleep. Also the ‘reception’ area is located in a hotel the other side of the road which is odd. The wi-fi is patchy and not the best. Only two small towels provided so make sure to bring your own.

The best part about this was the price and the location. We got more than what we paid for - a pretty decent private room, comfortable enough bed, more than workable bathroom. Would recommend for a semi-budget option.

Die Unterkunft liegt in ruhiger Lage im Stadtzentrum. Der Service war ohne Beanstandung. Einzige Mängel sind im Badezimmer zu nennen. Fugenlose Fliesen und Schimmel in der Dusche.
