Travelodge London Docklands

Needed a hotel for the night for a 10k run in London the next day, and this one was available! Check in was easy, the lady who served me was lovely (apologies, didn’t catch her name!) The hotel room itself is perfect for me, very happy! Dinner was great, really good choices and a meal deal option was a bonus! Fauazand and his team were brilliant, from ordering all the way up to my exit. Highly recommend and will definitely be back, thank you again all!

Stayed for 4 nights good hotel staff very friendly, breakfast had a good variety for every hot or cold, room good space bed comfortable. About a 10 minute walk from DLR so not too bad.

The hotel is relatively new, so it's very clean, modern and fresh. Unfortunately that's about the only good thing I can say about the hotel. I arrived at Travelodge London Docklands around 11pm with my family after travelling from Nottingham for an event in London. Upon check-in, we were informed that no Triple Family rooms were available, despite having booked and paid for one over five weeks in advance. This was extremely disappointing, as our room should have been reserved and guaranteed regardless of our arrival time. We declined the offer to be transferred to another Travelodge, as everyone including our young children was exhausted. As a result, we were downgraded to a different family room, which unfortunately did not have working air conditioning. This made our two-night stay quite uncomfortable, especially given the warm weather. Even with a fan provided by reception, the room remained hot and stuffy due to sealed windows that couldn’t be opened for ventilation. The breakfast cafe was also underwhelming. It was noticeably small and understaffed for the size of the hotel, resulting in long queues just to be seated, over 10 minutes in our case. The buffet area was frequently out of stock, and there was a further wait at the coffee station, as only one of the four machines was working. Overall, this experience fell well below our expectations

Breakfast service appalling. £25 for 2 people. 10 minutes wait for empty food dishes to be replaced. A catering pack of bacon served up as a barely cooked chunk of meat, coffee machine not working and lengthy queues in the restaurant to try and find a seat. A chaotic Sunday morning. Shame on you Travelodge.
