I booked a barrier-free room because I thought it would be bigger (room number 100), but I really don't recommend booking this room because it's not well designed and will be too noisy. There's a locked door in this room that's shared with the next door, so the sound insulation is extremely poor. And next door lives a 20-year-old Nottingham female college student who claims to have just been in the UK for a year. She chatted loudly with her boyfriend on speakerphone from 9pm to 2am, and the content was unbearable (I've been in the UK for 6 years, and this is the first time I've seen such a low-quality Chinese person, it's really embarrassing to go abroad)! From all kinds of Chinese swear words to insulting my classmates for no reason. In the end, I felt that the noise next door was endless all night, and then at 2am I went to the front desk to ask for a room change. I have to praise the front desk staff at the time. After I told them the needs, the problem was solved within 2 minutes and my room was changed to a quiet upstairs. I would like to thank the hotel staff here, they are very friendly and enthusiastic!
