The room is average, not matching the price. No toiletries such as toothbrush. Good points: The restroom in the lobby is very beautiful. Service: The service is too average, no doorman to take the luggage. We got off the taxi, carrying heavy luggage, but no one helped. Ordinary hotels don't have such service. Fortunately, Ctrip coordinated to change us to a slightly larger room, otherwise they would be very angry. Later, the front desk sent someone to change the room and take the luggage, and the attitude changed. Maybe Ctrip went to communicate.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walk to Westminster, 15-20 minutes walk to Chinatown and Buckingham Palace through St. John's Park. The hotel service is very good. I stayed at the hotel twice in London and even stored my luggage during my stay. The room is really small, but it's enough for sleeping. One afternoon when I returned to the hotel, I caught the hotel's happy hour and performance! A good hotel, no disadvantages except that it's expensive!

The hotel is located in the city center, quiet in the bustle, and within walking distance of many attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the London Eye. When we arrived, we were told that the reservation could not be found (probably due to an oversight by their reservation department). The suite for 3 people I booked was no longer available, and I was given two standard rooms, which was a timely solution to the problem.
The hotel itself has good environment, facilities and services, and the breakfast is quite rich. Regarding this hotel, there is an introduction on Zhihu that it was once a famous "spy hotel". If you are interested, you can check it out.

We have read and had a personal recommendation about this truly beautiful hotel. We were also greeted very warmly the first day however, I was disappointed with the less than 5 star treatment. First, the evening wine happy hour was held outside with minimal seating and so crowded for the small area. Nice gesture but seemed too chaotic. We asked for local dinner recommendations both nights and were sent to places that were so crowded that you couldn’t even get close to the door. Evidently, it is a popular area for after work business people. It would have been nice to be told this before walking so far. We did have the hotel breakfast buffet (not a part of our room). The lady sitting next to us raved about how good it was but once seated, the waiter made a point to ignore us, not once asking if we had everything we needed. They stopped at her table several times, even bringing her pudding but ignored us. It is definitely beautiful and a great location but sadly, would choose another place next time.
