We stayed as a family with our 2 year-old baby. The only real advantage of the hotel is its central location. However, we experienced several issues during our stay.
There are only 2 elevators in the hotel, and one of them was out of service. We had to wait 5–10 minutes each time, which was especially difficult with a baby.
The window in our room was very small and couldn’t be opened. Although there was a ventilation system, it was very noisy, making it hard for our baby to sleep.
The electric heater in the room, which looked like a radiator, constantly made noise while operating, which negatively affected our comfort.
The room phone was not working. If we needed anything, we had to go down to reception ourselves, which again meant long elevator waits.
Breakfast was quite poor for a 5 star hotel. The variety and quality were below expectations.
We stayed in an “Executive King” room, yet there wasn’t even a toilet brush in the bathroom, which we found to be an unpleasant oversight.
On the positive side, the reception and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Also, having complimentary fruits and water available at the hotel entrance was a nice touch.
