I stayed at Halpin House in July 2025 and had a terrible experience. I was bitten over 200 times by bed bugs in Room 208 after being forced to change rooms. The bites caused swelling and allergic reactions so severe that I had to visit a GP twice, take antibiotics, and use medication. The night staff offered no help, no room change, no pest control. I had to buy my own spray to survive the night. Multiple complaints were ignored by the hostel and its parent company. I’ve since found similar complaints in older reviews. Completely unacceptable. Avoid this hostel.

Mia figlia studia a Londra all’imperial college a South Kensington da settembre 2024. Da quando è entrata in questa accomodation non ha fatto altro che essere morsa da cimici da letto tanto da avere ormai una reazione allergica. Metto foto che vi fa capire quanto stia dicendo

A localização do hostel é perfeita, próxima aos pontos turísticos, pontos de ônibus e metrô. Há diversos restaurantes por perto e mercados. O hostel é organizado e limpo, os funcionários são ótimos, muito receptivos.

No hot water on 3 and 4 floors for a few days now. It's London in 21 century and can't get hot water fixed quickly. Heard the lift was out of order recently for weeks. Should be able to get things fixed quicker

Very good location and staff were so kind every time. They try to help Whenever you want Location is perfect for the price…. A few minutes for walk underground service and reliable place if I come again to London will prefer that place again

I had a great stay, clean room, excellent bathrooms, reception always ready to help. The location is great, close to 2 metro stations, supermarkets, bakeries, parks and pubs. I recommend and plan to return soon.

I liked the house. I went alone with Egali for study English and I dived bedroom with more 3 students. The house have a good zone and have market, coffee, metro station next to the house. the house has good common spaces, several bathrooms and clean. Reception is open 24 hours a day, I have nothing to complain about, I really liked the room, it has a minibar, individual wardrobe for 4 people, table, and a sink.

No hot water again at Halpin House, had happened a few times, unfortunately never seems to get fixed quickly. Along with the front door never locking so anyone can get into the building 24/7 it really doesn't leave a good impression
