The Finsbury Deluxe Apartments

The service was terrible, we arrived at the location at 8pm , we had not received the checkin instructions, the phone number that was on the App they were not picking, we waited outside under the rain for 1 and half hour, it was terrible, we had to call Trip.com to call the host. For the 3 days of our stay the apartment was not cleaned not even once. Right outside of the door of the flat, alot of people (like drug dealers) seating making lots of noise. I can't recommend this place to anyone!

I booked a superior room and I got a room like a hostel type for almost £200. The walls very dirty, bed sheet dirty, the bed looked like someone has slept on it. Upon entering the properly homeless people sat outside on the Astro turf. In the cupboard there was mix match hangers and left over plastic box. The hall way stunk of something I couldn’t put my finger on it. The door handle to the room was falling apart. This was not a superior studio flat. It was a scary experience i was scared to be anywhere near that property. The owner didn’t even apologise or offer an alternative. DO NOT BOOK. There are other hotels and guest accommodation on main road which are clean and safe.

Don't believe what you see, these "deluxe" apartments are very crampt and run down, the room itself isn't so bad however I'll recount my experience so you can get an idea of what you're dealing with. When we entered there was no reception, security or anything of the sort, we simply was emailed the code for the entrances and that's that, after hauling my (and my girlfriend's) luggage upstairs we entered a medium sized room with chipping paint and a flimsy closet, the room was very sterile looking, we left the apartment to go to a new restaurant that just opened, after going there we returned home only to hear something very disturbing, near our home was a man violently assaulting a woman, we couldn't do anything but luckily two lads stepped in to stop it (shout out to them), needless to say that made me and my partner feel quite unsafe as we are both not exactly the strongest people, so after hurrying inside we got ready for bed, after waking we heard a loud thumping noise near the room, this went on for about 10-20 minutes, it could have been the butcher shop but it's unlikely as it sounded like it came from inside the apartments and plus it didn't sound very butcherlike, no it was something else, I don't know what but it startled us and we were leaving that morning anyways. We've been been more glad to leave somewhere.
