People at the premises are very friendly , reception is informal and the pub restaurant offers good food in the evening.
Unfortunately the rooms have no bathrooms and guests are using shared washrooms and toilets , very inconvenient .
Furthermore for three days no cleaning was done to my room and no bed sheet were changed. On C trip this important detail is not mentioned.
As well the rooms size is notably smaller than what published and the breakfast (which you pay for ) is a Nespresso machine in the room with few cookies and dry stuff.
Considering that not even a table is provided breakfast was just a no go
.Young guest might adapt to these circumstances, which are typical of a Youth Hostel but for more aged traveller these circumstances are not ideal.
Internet not easy to access from the room and the TV , which uses a digital connection is not really functioning. Only few TV channels are reachable.

A bit far from central London, but nice room and served with decent English breakfast. Enjoy the stay! The price is reasonable for in London

Pre-marathon stay
Stayed here as I was participating in the 2025 marathon. The room was lovely and the service received was very good. The road was a bit busy outside all through the night but that cannot be helped. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, cute and convenient
We had a wonderful and great day. To tell you the truth, we had no clue what we were walking into. We didn’t realize that there were share bathrooms. But actually it wasn’t that bad at all. The place is very quiet and the staff are extremely friendly. The location sits above a pub in the community of Bow. The closest Underground is a 6 minute walk to Devon’s Road Station in the DLR. you can get to London attractions within 25 minutes. The room was clean, the place has two bathrooms… one with and tub; and one private shower room; so three separate w/c rooms altogether. All very clean. We felt very safe and the staff made us feel appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable. This was our first shared bathroom experience . We only saw one other person the entire time. I would highly recommend.

ABBA
We went to see ABBA so hotel was good location, unfortunately the location its self was awful. Room need a good clean, but food was very good.

Kan ej rekommendera detta hotell
Hemska sängar som man slog igenom och det var som att sova i en hängmatta. Inget badrum på rummet, detta framkom ej vid bokning. Läckande element inne på rummet och deras ”åtgärd” var en bunke. Vatten rinnande innanför rutorna och iskallt i både rummet och badrummet i korridoren. Frukosten var mini yoghurt, liten kartong med flingor samt en croissant i plastförpackning. Låg nära vid en tågstation, det vet det enda positiva. Rummet låg ut mot gatan och det var konstant trafikerat så det gick inte att sova pga mycket bilar och människor som förde oväsen.
