Delightful in every way
Comfortably furnished with thoughtful details and an artistic eye.... the entry way is its own self-contained little art gallery. Idyllic countryside setting, complete with goats, chickens, a pony, and of course - nesting swallows. We were sad to leave, and hope to visit again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Peaceful retreat
Loved everything about Swallows Rest. It is such a peaceful location, so clean, had a feel of nostalgia and I felt very safe. The artwork is beautiful. I visit the area at least a few times a year and hope to stay here again.Jo Dee

Beautiful peaceful retreat
We came for our daughter’s graduation from UDel and even though it was a little far out of town it was the perfect getaway to chill out between events. Host were great and place was clean and very nicely appointed. We would definitely recommend and return! Goats were so fun to interact with!

Charming and relaxing
The photos are accurate, a beautiful place and neighborhood. Comfortable bed and linens. Convenient for Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. Henry is an excellent host!

Wonderful Experience!
Beautiful location in a country farm setting. comfortable bed had everything we needed. Henry was a great host. We enjoyed visiting the animals in the property and covenient location with lots to do in the surrounding area. We will return and suggest to others! Thank you!

Great place to stay
Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and the area. This was a great choice for a place to stay. Slight hiccup with the check-in but Henry fixed the issue very quickly and everything was great!
