Celebrated our wedding at Hotel du Vin. We were mostly speaking to Krisytna, in their events team, who is absolutely brilliant. She communicated exceptionally and provided us with great advice and insight throughout the entire process from first contact all the way through to the end of the wedding day itself. She went above and beyond several times and she made the whole process with the hotel effortless. The team which helped to set up and ran the dinner service, Gaurav and Subi, were readily available, welcoming and provided service with a smile at all times. The hotel manager, Laura, and the entire hotel team from reception, bar and kitchen, were amazing and made our stay there and wedding celebration truly special.

Hotel did not arrange for single beds as requested and agreed. Water in shower has bad pressure. Worse than any other hotel I have stayed in this year. People working on maintenance walked into hotel in muddy boots and looking scruffy. Person caring for our room had bad attitude. Parking was £12 per night, but automatic exit barrier not working. I asked hotel to order a taxi and emphasized that they should take credit card. At end of trip - taxi wanted cash only. Bad lighting on room and specially in bathroom. You better bring a torch. No full length mirror in the room which women prefer (e.g. for evening dress).

We had a great time! I normally do not let reviews but this one has to be said. From the check-in to the attention of every team member, everything was perfect. We spent a lovely weekend being taken care of here and the Cannizzaro House is now in our core memories. Everything went smoothly, the room was big and super clean, the breakfast was tasty including (unexpectedly) the scramble eggs that in other places are either watery or powdered. The staff at the restaurant was also very attentive and quick… Idk what else could I say? There is nothing to complain and we will come back ☺️

The overall experience was truly commendable — from the well-maintained facilities to the seamless arrangements, everything was perfectly organized. The meeting space was comfortable and well-equipped, and all refreshments and meals were served on time and to our satisfaction. A special thanks to Mr. Gaurav, who ensured that all on-site arrangements were flawlessly coordinated and everything ran on time. His attention to detail and dedication were instrumental in the smooth execution of our event. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Ms. Dalma for her excellent support in handling all pre-booking formalities. Her efficiency and proactive approach made the planning process seamless and stress-free.

Looking forward to afternoon tea for my aunts 80th birthday celebration. On arrival the staff were polite, although we were told that the kitchen closed at 3:30pm (why take bookings at 3:00pm) Unfortunately when the afternoon tea was served more than an hour later. It was awful, plain white bread. Too much butter, very thinly sliced cucumber, not the choice of fillings as stated on the menu. Had to show the waiter the menu describing the sandwich selection, one waiter said, we only serve white bread! After this complaint they brought out cheese and pickle on granary bread. The scones were hard and like biscuits! We had to ask for cream for the GF tray. Had to ask for spoons to eat the desserts. Very poor indeed. We complained to the waiter who took £50 off plus 20% off the remainder of the bill. If you are charging almost £50pp at least serve edible food with quality ingredients!
