The position of the hotel is stunning. But the pictures now showing are not a true reflection of the public areas and the bedrooms are small. Not all have great views or balcony's. It's been photographed very well! We went B&B expecting to go out to restaurants but there is nothing around, so you unless you have a car, you are stuck. This added another £1,500 to our costs (we were there 10 days, just 2 of us!). The rooms are also a long way from the main building and so anyone with mobility issues could be stuck - we had 25 steps (no lifts) to our room, and a lot of the public areas are on different levels. The sand is VERY course, definitely pack your jelly shoes.

The entire staff, from reception to the restaurant and cleaning team, was extremely friendly and accommodating, with many useful tips. The location is perfect and not at all crowded, even in high season. A car is recommended however.

A pranzo ci siamo fermati a mangiare in Terrazza al Ristorante. Insalata caprese composta da mezzo pomodoro ed una piccola mozzarella di scarsa qualità. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere il tost 5 volte prima che ce lo servissero. Insalate con tonno scottato temperatura da frigorifero. Porzioni scarse prezzi esosi. Servizio non adeguato.

Wir waren schon oft nach Sardinien gereist, dieses Mal im Hotel DON DIEGO war es besonders schön, wir waren in einem wunderbaren kleinen Häuschen (Suite) untergebracht, neues Bad, lautlose Klimanlagen, TV neu mit vielen Kanälen, das alte Holzbett müsste allerdings dringend erneuert werden, es knarzt und riecht, das Essen im Hotel war ausgesprochen gut, Sterneküche würde ich sagen. Das Essen am Pool ist auch lecker, Pasta und Fische ganz frisch, aber nur sehr kurz 13-14 Uhr, vorher und nachher nur Pannini etc, kein Genuss. Am strand liegen Boote zum Fahren, es gibt einen Salzwasser(!)Pool, am Strand sind ausreichend Liegen .... also PERFEKT

Loved everything about this hotel - the private beach a standout. Staff were extremely helpful as I was hosting 30 people nearby for a 60th celebration. Highly recommend.
