Popular Loire-Atlantique 4-star Hotels

We had an issue with the floor of our bathroom being wet. After using the shower, we noticed it was leaking from under the bath. This was reported, but we were told as it was late it would not be possible to have it looked at. We were offered to move rooms, but as this was a joint room, we could use the bathroom of the other room so stayed. We mentioned the issue again the next day on check out and this receptionist was not aware but said she would have it looked at. The following day I had €200 deducted from my bank. I rang up to see why and was accused of making a mess in the bathroom, flooding it. I was told a technician could not find an issue and so it must be ‘guest error’. After multiple calls about the issue I finally received a call and was told that after a visit from a second technician, there actually was an issue and received an apology. While I appreciate the apology, I wasted a morning of my holiday worrying and dealing with this issue and do not appreciate having a random fine deducted from my card with absolutely no communication beforehand. There appears to be no system for staff to log issues reported by guests, as if the issue was communicated effectively to the morning staff, they would have been fully aware and would have had that staff members testimony. Instead I was told that they would have to wait until that staff member started later in the day to get ‘her side of the story’. In summary instead of receiving an apology for a fault in our room, we received an accusation and a fine. The poor communication made this all the worse. If this is the type of service Best Western are proud of, I will certainly not be returning or recommending your hotels.

This hotel is in a fabulous location. Bars, restaurants and shops all nearby. However the staff are not of the same quality. Our room had a bath but the plug did not work and so the water just drained out as fast as it came out of the taps. The device on the side of the bath was broken and thus the plug was useless. I mentioned to the girl on reception that there was a problem with the bath and it needed fixing. She told me she would get it fixed. Nobody arrived to fix it that day so I explained the situation to another girl the following day. Again nothing happened. Both girls were not interested and ghisvreflects very poorly on the hotel and the Mercure group in general.

Perfect for rest. The place in this hotel is great. Officers are also very happy to help. The guest room is very elegant, with a huge and comfortable room. We will definitely live here next time

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, allowing you to visit everything walking and having a parking space, but the litter is not at all (fine and very hard matlas), it is the same litter that you can find in the Ibis hotels **. The chairs are straight and too small (this hardly covers the bed intle), the small and unvolume cousins, the fine coat and all small. This point must really be changed, at present they are absolutely not worthy of a 4-star hotel. The rooms are quite small.

My wife and I were visiting family and the location was very convenient for us. We definitely enjoyed the seaside room on the top floor with all room amenities necessary. Clean and well maintained room that was above our expectations for the price. Included was a great breakfast buffet that could please everyone with a wide selection and replenished right away The staff in every department was very friendly, attentive and professional. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it was better than expected in all aspects. It was in a perfect locations for our visit to Les Machines. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The lobby area was clean and modern, all the staff we interacted with were both helpful and friendly. The big surprise was the restaurant. When we arrived at lunchtime we were hungry and could not be bothered to go outside the hotel so resigned ourselves to an average or worse hotel lunch. It was well above average, so when the evening arrived it was an easy decision to stay in the hotel for dinner. Both meals were excellent and very good value for money. I would stay and eat in the hotel again if in Nantes.

Having booked with our friends directly at the hotel 2 Superior rooms in the floor, with view on the ocean(ravis per les photos du site) What disappointment, at the arrival:room with 2 bayes vitrines and terrace certain but at the 1er floor therefore noisy, The hotel is closed to the hillside, and the other bay has a part view of the same hotel, which has a disruptive view of the ocean (TT has made a different picture from your site). The hotel was a very good hotel and was very good at the hotel. We were at the wrong time ? Did you say we were working ?
