Il posto è meraviglioso, come letto in un' altra recensione anche noi avremmo voluto restare più a lungo. Uno di quei luoghi in cui si ha la sensazione di essere in armonia con la natura e le persone. I padroni sono molto ospitali e simpatici ed è possibile assaggiare i piatti della cucina slovena. La gestione familiare dà ancora di più il senso di armonia. Le casette in cui si viene ospitati sembrano davvero quelle delle fiabe.

Un accueil chaleureux avec un petit verre de vin de noix, une restauration locale de qualité et un super petit déjeuner; nous avons apprécié nos 2 nuits passés dans ce Gesthouse; Petit bémol : la chambre un peu petite et avec peu d'équipement mais le rapport qualité:prix reste excellent.

Parfait ! Les gérants sont très gentils, donnent des conseils pour des randonnées aux alentours avec des enfants en bas âge. Les chambres sont grandes et le site fait très familial. Beaucoup de jeux pour les enfants (balançoire, jeux en bois, city, toboggan...) Pour ce qui est de la nourriture : délicieux ! Cet hôtel était notre première étape de road trip en Slovénie et nous avons goûté les spécialités locales, tout fait maison ! Bref, un réel coup de cœur pour le lieu et l'amabilité des hôtes !

La struttura è bellissima per gli amanti della natura, abbiamo soggiornato in una stanza doppia, tutto molto pulito e il contesto dov’è situato il complesso è a dir poco spettacolare. Si possono noleggiare bici per le escursioni nelle zone circostanti. Personale gentilissimo, i ragazzi ti fanno sentire come se fossi a casa. Cibo a prezzi mediamente sloveni (più bassi dei prezzi italiani) e con una qualità ottima. Piatti della tradizione, caserecci e davvero molto buoni! Il posto è facilmente raggiungibile, le vallate slovene vicino alla struttura sono spettacolari e offrono molte possibilità di attività all’aperto tra le Alpi. Complimenti, torneremo a trovarvi perché ci siamo trovati davvero bene!

We had the most lovely stay. We booked the bungalow. We knew this was tiny but for us it was big enough and we love how cosy this was. (My husband is 1.89 and I am 1.63 cm). The welcome was the most friendly we had. We had the dinner which took us back to old times when you are eating at home with your grandparents. This food was very good, the hosts were so friendly and it feels like you are home. The location is close by to the Logar valley and after a day of hiking you can relax in the garden with a nice glass of beer or wine.

I absolutely loved this place; I stayed with my family in a 4 person room for 2 nights but wish we had stayed longer! The room (an apartment with full kitchen) was immaculately clean and comfortable, but it was the hillside location with far-reaching mountain views combined with Katja’s warm welcome and delicious breakfasts and dinners that made it such a wonderful experience for us. My children loved meeting the sheep, goat and rabbit, and filling up on homemade chocolate pancakes for breakfast. I couldn’t take my eyes off the view, even better enjoyed with a glass of wine from the bar in the garden. The team here have created a really special place and I am very grateful to them all for sharing it with their guests.

I stayed at Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold for 2 nights on my 10 day trip around the exceptionally beautiful country of Slovenia. Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold was quite simply exceptional in all respects and one of the best places that I stayed at during my trip. I received a very friendly welcome from Katja on arrival (which included a welcome drink) and she showed me round the accommodation. Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold is located very close to the border with Austria and there is a stunning view of the Kamnik Savinja Alps. It is a very quiet location other than for the sounds of nature. My bungalow was small but exceptionally clean and comfortable and provided 2 perfect overnight stays. The food, both evening meal and breakfast, were excellent and good value for money. The home cooked local produce and the home brewed beer and home prepared elderflower juice were all very welcome! The only issue that I encountered was that the WiFi was slow and prone to dropping out. This would not necessarily have caused me a problem but it did prove difficult to amend my train bookings for my journey home from Ljubljana and across Europe to London. Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold is highly recommended for an overnight stay in this part of Slovenia. Thank you so much Katja for your hospitality during my stay!
