Stayed for 2 nights in different rooms. So the first night we were in the Las Vegas room. Bed was comfortable but had long black hairs on the sheets. The most frustrating part was the TV didn't work and the phone system was down. We called using our cell which was fine and the receptionist came to help with the TV. She couldn't get it to work but after messing with it I figured out they had the HDMI's mixed up so even though the instructions told you to select the input to Satellite you really needed to select Blue Ray. Not a big deal just a little odd a place with 4-5 separate buildings spread out like it is doesn't have a operating phone system. There wasn't a hair dryer so we had to ask to have that brought to us as well. The rooms are fun and a big reason to pay a little extra than a hotel room but the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. You no longer get to choose from a variety of options like they used to, now it's one entree and if you don't like it tough. Speaking of tough, the frittata or whatever it was we had was so tough you couldn't chew it. We left and had to go out to eat at a restaurant (The Crepery just down the street was good). They used to have these egg and ham croissants and fruit with yogurt and granola and 2 types of drinks. Now you get whatever they have to offer that day. We got a couple of moldy mushy over ripe strawberries and 5 blueberries with a egg, cheese, and potato thing you couldn't even chew. You get a better breakfast at a Holiday Inn. They charge $300+ PER NIGHT for the rooms we had and that's what they give you to eat? I would pay extra for what they used to serve. From now on if we go back I won't even want breakfast and maybe that's the owners goal. But then stop calling it a bed and breakfast and lower the rates on the rooms because what they charge now is not worth what you get. Some of these rooms haven't been updated in YEARS especially at the Logan location. The beds aren't comfortable and the pillows are cheap so we bring our own. The Jesse James room is it's own building and in January it's cold in Logan. There were no blankets on the bed and we couldn't find a extra blanket in the closets. We brought our own blanket so we were fine thankfully since the phones didn't work. But it's ok there is a gas fireplace....oh wait it's for decoration only!! it used to work in the winter time now they don't even have it hooked up and its for "Ambiance"??? Having a fireplace for ambiance only helps the Ambiance if it has flames! It's just so aggravating to see them make so many cost cutting measures everywhere. I get it they need to make a profit but it's getting ridiculous to see how many things don't work and aren't up to standard for a $300 a night room. Time to find a different place to go I guess after coming 3-4 times a year for almost 20 years now. Just sad.
