The room size is okay, but the overall staircase is a bit old and there is no elevator, but it doesn't affect it. It's a different experience, which is not bad...

Fabulous overnight stay offering great value package deal, great location near NY moors, beautiful room, delicious food but staff were the highlight of the stay. They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Looking forward to staying again.

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. The room was clean, spacious, warm and comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with bath and shower. The grounds and gardens are quite delightful for a stroll. The staff were friendly and courteous. We took advantage of a special deal which offered good value. Our only disappointment was the wait for our evening meal. We had reserved a table for 7.30pm and arrived just prior to that. Our order was taken but we had to wait 45 minutes before our food arrived. We also felt that some of the tables were very close together which felt a little uncomfortable. However, we had no complaints with breakfast which was delicious and arrived in a timely manner.

as usual the stay was excellent the food had gone up a notch the room(which i had chosen was warm ) staff friendly & efficient have been visiting this hotel for many many years & always a delight to return nothing further to add as it was fine in respect of all important factors

One night away, two couples. Amazing setting. Friendly, attentive staff. Lovely food. Bar area, dining room and outside area inviting. Rooms comfortable. Recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. Will be going again, well worth a visit.

Came to this hotel some 32y ago, and today the hotel is as nice as it was then. Lovely hotel, ground very relaxing time. Dinner/food and breakfast together with Afternoon tea were great. Bar area is also very nice. Ground especially if you have dogs are fab with great walks. Staff very attentive and friendly. Overall experience great. We will be back.

Fabulous short break at Grinkle Park. Staff were brilliant! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was large and very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and well stocked with toiletries. Food was excellent. Breakfast choice was fantastic. Evening meal choice was excellent and the food quality was super. All in all a most enjoyable stay. We will be back!

Another great visit. We stayed in Commondale with views over the garden. Both the evening meal and breakfast food was very good. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We’ve been visiting for a number of year and will definitely visit again.
