The room was modestly furnished, with doors made of thin wood. I asked for a itemized bill/receipt and was told that I would receive it by email. I never received the receipt. I called 10 times to ask for it and never reached a person. I believe my number was blocked. Such behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Very friendly staff at the reception. Great people and very handy with all kind of issues. Super sauna and food at the restaurant. Would to recommend for not busy time, specially when you look for relaxing. The swimming pool bit to small, kids and adults same place…..

We rented a cottage for the 8 of us, including two small children, for three nights, with breakfast in the main hotel restaurant, and á la carte dinner in the same restaurant. We were initially taken aback somewhat by the spartan interior of the cottage, however this was more than made up with the quality and price setting of the restaurant as well as the quality of hotel services and the ambiance of the estate. The estate offers spectacular views, nice playing facilities for the young ones, a good spa, a nice medium sized pool for young and old, semi free roaming cattle (scottish cows, goats and sheep), as well as interesting art objects from wood (made by local artists). A bit pricey, but well worth the drive and expense!

The location and accommodations were fine. The nature allowed us to relax and spend some time outdoors. But the food- terrible! Felt bad the next day. The food served during our dinner was not warm enough.
