Great Stay at Campofelice Campground We stayed for three days at Campofelice Campground in Tenero. Even though it was off-season, it was still quite a busy place. The campground is very convenient, with everything easily accessible. The facilities, including showers, toilets, and washing areas, were clean and well-maintained. The lady who cleans these areas does an excellent job, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. There is a small store on-site that has everything you need, which was very convenient. We went swimming in Lago Maggiore; while the water wasn't the cleanest, the location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains. There's also a pool area available, although we didn't use it. Tenero is a great base for excursions, and there is a lot to do in Ticino. We loved our time here. It's a bit pricey, but overall, it's a great place to visit!

Campofelice in Tessin is a great camping place! We enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding in the lake,the facilities are great. It's nice and quiet, locals are friendly . Everybody speaks German or English. Italian cuisine never disappoints,when not cooking for ourselves. Last time we visited,the weather was not quite sunny,but our mood was instead 😊 Shops are available nearby ,to get what is forgotten or needed. At the camping site everything is very well organized and taken care of. It is worth visiting, when someone appreciates good people and travelling, as well as beeing close to nature. We made lots of friends and had tasty Italian ice cream,good coffee nearby . Campofelice is wonderfully relaxing. Wiews surrounded by mountains, birds singing early in the morning - it is a lifestyle where you can slow down,take notice on life's greatest pleasures.

Zur Lage direkt am Lago Maggiore grosszügige gepflegte Anlage. Wir haben uns ein Bungalow gegönnt, auf den ersten Blick sahen sie gut aus nach Bezug und Erkundung des Bungalows jedoch einige Unstimmigkeiten festgestellt. Im Inneren des Bungalows haben wir nichts auszusetzen, jedoch auf der Veranda auf der wir gerne unsere Freizeit mit Gesellschaftsspielen und dem Essen verbrachten wurde an Werterhaltung und Instandsetzung wenig wert gelegt (siehe Bilder) man sieht hier das die Bungalows schon in die Jahre gekommen sind. Auch fehlten zusätzlich Klopapierrollen, Seife und Spülmittel hier könnten sie sich ein Beispiel am TCS nehmen. Auch ist die Warmwasserversorgung nicht gewährleistet ständige druck und Wassertemperatur Schwankungen mit Verbrennung Gefahr mal zu kalt mal zu Heiss. Wir hatten uns auch die Sanitären Anlagen angeschaut, zum Glück hatten wir im Bungalow unsere eigenen Sanitären Einrichtungen. Auch befindet sich der Platz in einen Anflugschneise wodurch man den ganzen Tag durch Pivatmaschienen und Helikopter und deren lärm Emissionen ausgesetzt wird. Unser Fazit nebst den nicht angemessen Preisen war es ein versuch diese Anlage zu Besuchen leider halten sie unseren Ansprüchen nicht stand, wir werden uns wieder dem TCS Campingplatz in Lugano den wir seit Jahren Besuchen und seinen gepflegten Mobilhome-Bungalows einmieten.

Positives - lake area beautiful, good facilities, kids enjoyed, ablutions very clean, restaurant campofelice was good, friendly staff, decent playgrounds and decent supermarket. Negatives - pool hours only from 11:30 until 18:00 and then no kids allowed in warm pool from 17:00 to 18:00. Given summer sunset at 21:30, the pool hours are ridiculous. Credit card facilities limited and cash only or loading on armband very inconvenient. Its Switzerland in 2024 - lets try Twint? Early checkout (09:30) was irritating as you have to clean all dishes etc and then have to pay chf95 cleaning fee! At other self catering resorts in Switzerland we pay on average chf55. No basic cleaning things/soap or toilet paper supplied. We lived in a River Lodge 4 bungalow which was ok but value for money questionable. Probably better to opt for proper camping and pay a bit less if you have the gear.

Je suis partie un peu à l'aventure seule avec mes filles et sous tente, nous avons eu une 1ère nuit sous la pluie à tel point que tout était mouillé, j'ai demandé à changer contre paiement une location mais rien n'était disponible. Nous avons donc du partir prématurément car ils annonçaient 2 jours de pluie consécutif, j'ai fait 2 nuit au lieu de 7 he bien le camping ne nous a fait aucune ristourne , j'étais vraiment très déçue je serais volontiers retournée une prochaine fois avec une location. De nombreux emplacements étaient disponibles. Dommage

Der Campingplatz ist sehr gepflegt. Die Parzellen sind nicht zu groß aber in Ordnung. Der Platz liegt direkt neben einem Flughafen. Ständiger Fluglärm und das Rauschen der Autobahn war sehr unangenehm. Erster Hubschrauberflug um 05:50 Uhr. Das Restaurant ist gut aber teuer. Zur Referenz: Die Pizza Margherita kostet um die 16€.

Camping magnifique et nous retournerons en été 2024 pour la....3ème fois. Des sanitaires à 3 places. beaucoup d'activités pour les enfants et adultes. Transport public gratuit pour tout le Tessin. Belle balade en vélo jusqu'à Ascona environ 50 minutes.

Amazing campsite. The facilities were excellent - the showers in one of the blocks was comparable to a 5* hotel. the supermarket was good - not super-expensive. The pool was really nice, and swimming in lake Maggiore was lovely - warmer than the pool. No negatives. We had a nice pitch under trees that was a short walk to everything. We were the only Brits on the site - but everyone spoke English, so wasn’t a challenge.

Sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz am Lago Maggiore. Große Stellplätze, saubere Waschhäuser und sehr freundliches Personal. Supermarkt, Pool, Restaurant, Eisdiele alles vorhanden. In ca. 800 Meter Entfernung ist ein großer Coop Supermarkt. Etwas störend ist wochentags der Fluglärm von den Privatflugzeugen. Die starten in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Campingplatz
