The welcome and service are exceptional based on classical customer excellence you would expect from a top hotel! Diane and Mike are at the top of their craft and they clearly put the ‘care’ into customer care - this is the focus of their business We were offered afternoon tea on arrival and would have loved to experience this but we needed to go out again to go to a pre scheduled event Both are lovely people with exceptional experience in getting along with their clients and understanding their needs They are inquisitive but with the perfect balance of not being intrusive, allowing a natural relationship to develop with a total focus on making your stay a pleasure This standard of service is sadly rare today and was once a more common experience so it is a pleasure to see how standards still matter at the Old Vicarage This is a B&B offering exceptional value for money with one of the best breakfasts we have had putting most five star hotels to shame The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need Location is perfect to explore this beautiful area and to know that a good sleep and warm welcome awaits on your return followed by an outstanding breakfast that provides the icing on the cake Highly recommended for active people and for those who want to bring along a well behaved furry child!! From the moment we arrived to tea and cake in the lounge, we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodation, secure bike storage as promised and a hearty breakfast of good quality ingredients. Would return in a heartbeat!

This is great bed and breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Bedrooms are clean and spacious, with good bathrooms. Breakfast is lovely, lots of choice - freshly cooked using local ingredients. All for a very good price.

Great location,good decent size room, comfy bed, owners we're great , very helpful with everything, definitely going back.
