Panorama Cottages

One of the finest holiday apartments I have ever stayed in, the views from the Lodge are fantastic, Richard the owner is very friendly and helpful, it's a top place to stay, we will keep going back. We have been to this place for over five years now can't say anything better than that.

We went there with another couple and our two dogs. Very comfortable, cosy (but roomy) and very clean. The owner was lovely and the location is stunning and well centred for lots of walks. Only 5 minutes drive to LLangollen centre. The only small issues were the shower head fixture wouldn't stay up and it needs a sign on the other side of the gate as well! (We passed it the 1st time). Lovely walk from the gate up the hill and 5 minutes down the road was the entrance to a really stunning walk. The dogs were very pleased!

Stayed in cottage number 1 for four nights with my wife & young child. Downstairs you'll find the bedroom & bathroom whilst upstairs is the kitchen & living room. The living room being on the first floor is perfect due to the fact you're welcomed by the most stunning views. First floor has two doors which open up to a 'mini balcony' where you're able to sit and watch the world go by(mainly the sheep). The kitchen has many utensils/pots etc for self catering & a good size fridge, no freezer but this wasn't an issue for us. Local walks lead to stunning views & there's lots to do locally Including Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Chirk Castle. I've been instructed by the wife to rebook for next year. Must be good :). I stayed in cottage No1, a one bedroomed cottage. The bedroom and shower room was on the ground floor, while the open plan living and kitchen space was on the first floor. The Julliet Balcony in the living area gave spectacular views of the surrounding country side. I have deducted one point due to the fact that, although the bed pillows were clean they did not have pillow protectors on them which I think is a must, also, although there was a mirror in the shower room for my husband to use for shaving, there wasnt a mirror near an electric socket for me to use when blowdrying and styling my hair, sorry Richard females like myself need this. Richard the owner was very friendly and helpful.I look forward to booking the cottage again next year. This was a very relaxing holiday, the cottages are only 5mins drive from Llangollen with all of the amenities that Llangollen has to offer.

Family of 6 adults, 2 children plus a 1 year old stayed in the Farmhouse for half term. It's just beautiful, so rustic with an amazing log burner and fireplace. Everything a family needs, with plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. The private hot tub was just fabulous. We sat and played word games together whilst watching the snow clouds travel through the valley, watched the sheepdog work with the sheep on the hills - a truly magical experience for our young family. Rich was so helpful, really keen to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy. We took our golden Labrador, he was made very welcome, and loved the garden - we were very careful to ensure he didn't roam and scare the sheep. We'll be back, the other cottages look perfect and we'd like to try them all!

We came here for a few days away to get out the city for our anniversary, cottage was beautiful the view was beautiful the hot tub was beautiful, Richard was an amazing host very active with responding to messages if you need help with anything. The walks surrounding are lovely and lots of things to do. Absolutely will come back here at some point the future didn’t want to leave. Cottages fully stocked so you can cook your own meals. The only thing to bare in mind is if you don’t drive getting a taxi is quite difficult during the day but wouldn’t stop me from returning. Thank you for an amazing anniversary, we will hopefully be back. :)
