Old fashioned, averagely neat. Shower not working. Bowls not available to fetch water. Not nice

Bed was very uncomfortable. the shower was cold, and the water pressure wasn't great. Dusty skirting boards, one socket in the room didn't work. Breakfast wasn't great either it said continental, very limited choice for a continental breakfast.

there was no headboard on the bed , there was plaster falling off the wall next to the stool which only just fit and that was where the tea making things were so you couldnt use it .under the radiator there was a hole and you could see into the cavity, and finally the curtains were falling off the fitting.

Location is good, however I was quite disappointed with my stay. There was a door or panel on the wall in the room that kept flapping and making a loud “popping” or “slapping” sound due to the wind, which made it very hard to sleep. On top of that, I found trash inside the bedside drawer, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. Overall, the cleanliness and comfort were not up to standard.

Only stay here if you don’t mind sharing your room and bathroom with cockroaches and pests. The accommodation was shockingly dirty: the wardrobe was damaged, the bathroom door was broken and had absolutely no lock. This stay completely spoiled our holiday.

Stayed here last night with my family in room 11. Room was small, claustrophobic and not well maintained. Was more like a cheap bedsit than a hotel room. Bed was so hard and uncomfortable and what I would imagine a prison bed feels like. The pillows were flat as a pancake. There was no mattress protectors on any of the three mattresses in our room. I have never stayed in a hotel before that doesn't use mattress protectors. Bathroom was manky with no hot water. The whole hotel smelt like wet dogs from the minute you walked into reception. There were cables hanging everywhere from walls and multiple plugs in one extension lead. The curtains were hanging from the tracks which were too small for the windows. The room was in desperate need of painting - walls were all marked and dents where the headboard had banged against it. It was very noisy through all hours of the day and night and the walls and floors were thin. You can hear people walking around and kids running and being noisy. The hotel directly opposite was also really noisy with people shouting into the early hours. The windows were filthy and the sea view we had was a side sea view not a full one. We had a kettle and tea making facilities but no tea spoon. Our breakfast wasn't included in the price we paid but in all honesty I was glad about that as if the food standard was anything like the rooms, we wouldn't have eaten it anyway. When we were leaving we noticed the clean linen was left outside each room ON THE FLOOR not a trolley! On a dirty carpet where multiple people had walked several times a day! Not at all worth the £150 we paid for the night. The whole experience literally left me itching to leave the place!

could not have bath or shower no hot water for the 2 days i was there. toilet tank was loose. bathroom handle was loose. curtains off the rails. extension cables hanging down the wall. not idea family room on the second floor.

Stayed here for 2 night n the shower is so different it ever hot or cold the room I stayed in was for one person the curtain didn’t cover the whole window the bed was that soft I had a bad back every morning there was a pool table but we could not use it every time a asked to use the table they said we can’t not much to choose from the bar n then u have to get some one to come to the bar to serve u my friend n his family could have a bath because they did have any hot Water the man on the front desk said they would have to wait 29 min for the hot water but an hour later there was still no hot Water so they had to use the shower which was the same problem I will not be coming bk here

Had a lovely stay, we had a large spacious room, big bathroom, could just do with a new shower. Breakfast was value for money, with lovely fresh poached eggs, toast, cereals, yoghurt, fruit and pastries...overall value for money.... lovely staff too.
