The location on the seafront was perfect, especially as the weather was beautiful when we were there.  It is the first time we have been to Llandudno and stayed at The Imperial, but will definitely return.  We arrived a couple of hours early, expecting to have to wait for our room, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it was ready, which set us off on a good footing. The staff were all, without exception, delightful and very helpful.  The room was a good size and everything was very clean.  Unfortunately we were unable to sample the dinner menu.  Breakfast was good…plenty of selection available and you could order an omelette if you so desired. A fabulous stay 🤩 A very enjoyable stay

The Imperial Hotel is a charming hotel overlooking Llandudno Bay. I was on a solo trip and was made very welcome on arrival. My single room was surprisingly large with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Bathroom was also large with an overhead shower over the bath. There was a window which opened and had a view as seen by the photos. Comfortable bed. Bottled water provided. Upon arrival for breakfast I was warmly welcomed and offered a table in the terrace area which was lovely. The breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice, fresh fruit, porridge, cereals, yogurt, pastries and lovely bread. Full English available or you can order from the breakfast menu, some items with an extra charge. Fresh tea available if you prefer or machine dispensing coffee, hot chocolate etc also available. Use of the Mint Condition leisure area is available to guests, bathrobe and slippers provided. All in all a lovely couple of days at this hotel and will return.

We stayed 4 nights there with a friend couple. Staff were all helpful wnd polite, and listened to suggestions. Great in variety t and tasty breakfast. Room was spacious and clean, with good pillows and bedding. The toilet was great and plenty to move around. Everything was wonderful. Only imperfection was that our room faced the back, anf we can see the other rooms, so we needed to pull down our curtains eVerytime we changed clothes.

When checking in to a hotel, be careful of the change of scenery. I booked a high-end room, but was downgraded. Figure 1 is a screenshot of the room reservation, and Figure 2 is the room arrangement after check-in. Very dishonest, and refused to apologize. It is even more difficult to understand that three orders were placed before and after, and I was asked to change rooms and move for three nights. What is even more bizarre and ridiculous is that the guest’s belongings were thrown away without authorization when the hotel room fee was fully paid and still in the stay. It is really a strange adventure in the history of hotel stays! If I come to Llandudno again, the Imperial Hotel must be excluded from the choice. There are all kinds of mistakes. Although Ctrip customer service negotiated and compensated, the impression left by various bizarre problems is difficult to eliminate, and it is incredible that there was no apology from the hotel when I checked out after so many bizarre mistakes. Of course, there is a blessing in disguise. Thanks to the poor service of the Imperial Hotel, we changed our itinerary and went to Chester to check in at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel in advance. The two hotels have similar prices, but the service awareness, service level and hotel environment, hygiene, facilities, and catering are worlds apart.
