The Grafton Guest House

Warmly greeted by Paul and Laurie at the door.We hadn't been back to The Grafton in 6 years and we greeted like family, just like it was a few weeks ago we last stayed there. We were given the same room, number 15 with the glorious view out to sea,and the great Orme.Everything spotlessly clean and fresh,extremely comfy bed and bedding,plenty of tea and coffee and yummy biscuits to nibble on.Breakfast was excellent,plenty of choices which set you up for the day. Paul and Laurie gave us plenty of information regarding Bodnant gardens and a local favourite Chinese restaurant and other places to visit in the area.Really looking forward to our next visit, I can guarantee it will be soon.

Laurie, Paul where do I start reviewing our stay? You welcomed us so warmly, explaining everything we needed to know about how the Grafton worked, the town itself and various other notes of interest with a locals insight. Our room- No 10 had spectacular views over the bay, which we could sit in our reclining chairs and simply relax. The bed was so comfortable, I slept better than I have in years. Your breakfasts- absolutely delicious quality fayre, with Paul always remembering what our preferences were each morning. Nothing was too much trouble for you awesome hosts. We arrived as strangers and feel we left having made new friends. I really was quite tearful to leave. Just returned from short break at The Grafton. Everything just as expected, lovely ground floor room, breakfast super with excellent and friendly service. Bus service into town centre just minutes away and regular. The whole family had a great few days. Will return for sure.

Myself and my partner stayed at the grafton for 2 nights Friday until Sunday and what a pleasurable time we had there Laurie and Paul are superb hosts so friendly and easy to relate to our room was on the top floor with a superb view of the sea the room was very comfortable especially the little table and chairs by the window a nice little touch,we had 2 cooked breakfasts and the food was delicious both times Laurie discovered I was coaliac and made sure that I had gluten free food which was a nice gesture all in all we certainly had no complaints at all about our stay there and the next time we are in Llandudno we will certainly be going back.

Just got back from staying here, Laurie & Paul are the most amazing hosts, we were really made to feel like family. We had room 10, the bay window room at the front with amazing views and comfy chairs to relax in. The room had a huge bed, so comfy, spacious shower/bathroom, everywhere extremely clean. Room had plenty of storage, and plug sockets. Laurie even made sure there was a fan in the room, which was a godsend. Now for the breakfast, my husband had the cooked breakfast every morning, and said it’s one of the best he’s had, I had the Eggs Benedict (perfect), and fabulous scrambled eggs on toast. We even found a lovely box of chocolates in our room upon our return as they knew it was our wedding anniversary, which was so kind of them. We will definitely be going back for sure.

Lovely views, clean, comfortable and friendly . Breakfast good but very prescriptive about when you have it. No choice of time and you have to order the day before. I don’t want breakfast at 7.45 on a Sunday morning. No lift but help with bags available.

From the minute we arrived everything was perfect The room had amazing views and was spotlessly clean, it had everything you would need for a short stay, the chairs that were situated in the window were great. Breakfast was freshly cooked with the perfect poached eggs and good choices. Paul and Laurie were the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. This place is highly recommended. Thank you to you both.

I stayed with my young son for 3 nights at Easter. I can hand on heart say I have never met such welcoming, friendly hosts as Laurie and Paul. We had a lovely sea view room. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was lovely and the extra Easter treat was a lovely thought. The room set out for eating take away meals at other times of the day, I thought was a great idea. Paul and Laurie gave us some recommendations of bakeries and places to eat during our stay, which turned out to be lovely. I would hope on our next visit to Llandudno we would be able to stay at The Grafton again.

From start to finish our stay was absolutely wonderful, Laurie & Paul have such a warm presence and you can tell their business is so important them! The hotel itself was very peaceful, rooms very clean with everything you need! Breakfast was wonderful, really fresh and not greasy at all! Can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay again if we return to Llandudno! P.s thank you for my birthday card, those extra thoughtful touches didn’t go unnoticed! X
