Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very good for dogs - there is a paddock where they can roam freely and the owners thoughtfully provide poo bags! We stayed four nights during the September heatwave and the cottage stayed nice and cool during the day. The shower was a bit underpowered, but there was plenty of hot water for baths, washing up, etc. The quaint local towns of Llantwit and Cowbridge are a short drive away, and offer plenty to do and see. The farm shop at Cowbridge is great, with a cafe and play equipment for kids. Beach at Llantwit is disappointing if you are after sand - all big rocks and limestone pavement

Thank you, Siân and John for your warm welcome. We are enjoying our three week stay in Starling Cottage. This is well-equipped and cosy. Moorshead Farm is conveniently located for exploring the nearby heritage coast and the historic attractions of the Vale of Glamorgan. We have visited several pubs, restaurants and cafes, serving good quality food. Our trainee guide dog enjoyed our paddock.
