The experience was extremely bad. Half a month after I left, they deducted $200 from me, saying that the bath towel was missing. What a joke. Who would dare to use the bath towel in the hotel, let alone take it away? My clothes were stolen on the second day of check-in. I told the front desk to check the surveillance, but the front desk kept dragging its feet and didn't respond in the end. It was rubbish!!!

While the hotel stay was OK, there was NO housekeeping during our 4 day stay, bags of trash in the halls, cockroaches in the bathroom, smeared bathroom mirror and slight mold in the sink, and a pretty gruesome breakfast. The "fitness center" was awful, with a broken treadmill, no working emergency tether for the one working treadmill, a slanted seat for the bicycle making it impossible to stay on the seat, and an elliptical that squeaked and barely worked. This was NOT a usable fitness room. Also, while not necessarily the hotel's fault, we were sandwiched between one room where people watched movies with the volume turned up high late into the early morning hours and another room where a couple chose to fight each night at around 3:00am. If you want cleanliness, quiet, a working fitness room, and an edible breakfast, stay elsewhere.

If I could give a zero I would. Benny at the front desk swore at our children about getting the lobby floor wet, because there were no towels in the pool area for guests. Then he became so upset when the father of the little girl that he swore at, expressed how out of line he was, that he then called the police on us and had a bunch of soccer moms and children removed from the hotel late at night. After the police asked families to leave, Benny came hunting for another family knocking on doors, and claiming that “he don’t play”. He was yelling at the parents about how he had the “upper hand” and how “our privilege didn’t work there”. He was verbally assaulting a mother in front of her crying children. Never have I ever heard such inappropriate language from a hotel staff in all of my years. We are going to corporate but wanted to share this information here as well. One of our rooms had blood all over the bed, and the family had to be moved. One room found underwear in the safe. The sheets were stained and the shower curtain was slimy. Our AC unit fell off the wall. Do not stay here. Benny will treat you terribly and then lie about facts. Very terrible experience.

This is by far on of the worst hotel properties I have ever stayed at. If I could have left a ZERO I would have. At arrival the desk clerk was swearing in his conversation with the guest in front of us. My children found dirty underwear in the room safe. The condition of the hotel is gross. The desk clerk was acting "out of sorts" during the evening. My husband witnessed him swearing a pizza delivery guy down the hallway. Another family in our group had to have sheets changed. They saw what looked to be blood. He swore/yelled at 2 young kids in our group for coming to ask for more towels to the dads. THIS PLACE IS GROSS! The GM failed to provide accurate information about our stay to the corporate level. Go stay across the street at the HOLIDAY INN (very nice).

I spent one night at Best Western Livonia. My room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and straightforward. The free breakfast was good. The location was right across Six Mile Road from my destination. It was unfortunate that I couldn't walk across the road right there, but it wasn't far.

Our room was very quiet. However, the light switch at the door when I turned it on, the light above us did not turn on. And the sink for the kitchenette, the water lines are mixed up. Hot is cold and cold is hot. We met housekeeping when we arrived, and they were more than happy to let us know if we needed anything, to ask and they would get it for us very polite.
