Avani Victoria Falls Resort

The Avani does so so much right and I could not wish to have had a better five day stay. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough to make you enjoy yourself. Wonderfully quiet comfortable rooms with lovely showers and bed and excellent WiFi throughout. Excellent WiFi; superb breakfast buffet and very good lunch and evening meals options and truly excellent value for money. Small touches to very far… allowing a later checkout; an early check in and a free room upgrade… you deserve a loyal customer base and I will be one of them for a long time to come now! And with a location that is unmatched in terms of convenience for all the activites around the falls. Keep up the consistently high standards team Avani!

Radisson Blu Mosi Oa Tunya Livingstone Resort

A True Gem My stay at the Radisson Blu Livingstone was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location right on the Zambezi River is simply breathtaking and l daily elephant encounters every time we left the hotel. The views from my room were stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure the comfort of my coworkers and I. The service was top-notch, from the efficient check-in to the attentive room service. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel's amenities were also excellent, including a beautiful pool and a world-class restaurant. I highly recommend the Radisson Blu Livingstone to anyone visiting Zambia. It's a truly unforgettable experience!
Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara

A truly marvellous hotel in one of the most mystical places we have ever seen. The entire colonial-style hotel complex is an African dream. You can see directly onto the Zambezi from the beautiful rooms. The food - whether breakfast, lunch or dinner - was excellent. A real luxury hotel that is absolutely worth the price. The service staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our absolute favourite was Edward, the hotel's concierge: not only a helpful, extremely friendly and humorous man, but also simply a great person who told us a lot about the Zambezi way of life and demonstrated genuine hospitality. For his sake alone, we would stay at the Royal Livingstone Hotel again at any time.
Jollyboys Backpackers

Very good value for money, a bar with a meal, and a kitchen where you can cook. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk, there are many good restaurants within ten minutes, the post office is nearby, it is very convenient to send postcards, there are also several nearby that want to change local currency, you can compare. Music is played at night, but the volume and time are controlled. If you need a break for long trips, this hostel is a good choice.
aha The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa
4.4/545 Reviews
A few days before Christmas, I stayed here with my husband for two nights. The environment is first-rate, and the service is generally worse than Southeast Asia and slightly worse than the equivalent hotels in African countries. When I left the house in the morning, a cleaning sign was hung up. I returned to the house more than three in the afternoon and did n’t clean it. I did n’t clean it until I went back at night. Breakfast was okay, the British and American breakfasts were similar. It was ok, but there was no freshly squeezed juice, and the beverage felt like concentrated juice and water. Turned up turn-down service at night, and a small snack was good. The environment is particularly good. There are monkeys in the yard. They are not as fierce as those in China. They are not strong and do not actively attack people. The perimeter of the hotel is the safari park. After eating Chinese food with my husband for the first night, I went back to the hotel and saw a wild boar about 30 meters away from the hotel entrance. The big window facing the river in the room facing the river is very quiet. It is very comfortable to open the window in the morning and watch the river view lying on the bed. The quilt is a duvet, but the sheet cover is not soft and comfortable enough, which may be a common problem in African countries. Overall it is worth living.
